Brittany did an amazing job with our wedding! She was able to figure out how to accommodate a few complex requests, including providing a generator for the ceremony location and figuring out how to mic a 7 person singing group with accompanying guitar. She really collaborated with us on the music we wanted to have at the wedding, and really understood the vibe that we were going for. She was also just incredibly cool, fun, kind, and supportive throughout the whole day, and seemed to be really flexible when the timelines didn’t end up matching exactly with what we originally planned. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an incredible DJ for their event!

Brittany was seriously one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She both kept things chill/hyped the crowd in the right moments, helped with flow in our big venue, and her kindness and flexibility helped us feel relaxed and joyful all day. She supported the planning process too -- doing a venue tour, helping with ideas for music, and things we didn't even think of! She even helped do a surprise dance for me and my Mom! My husband and I got married July of 2022 and are beyond thankful we came across Blyssful Sounds. I was referred to Brittany of Blyssful Sounds by another DJ who was unavailable and am SO grateful we found her!

We were originally trying to save $ and attempting to do our own playlist with some Bose speakers etc. However, short and simple, I got stressed at the last minute because I realized music is such a key thing for an event and so reached out to a DJ based on google search. (A friend of mine had said her biggest regret of her wedding was not having someone dedicated to handling music that knew what they were doing).

Thankfully, Brittany was available and after contacting her with less than 2 weeks before my wedding she helped me finalize the music for the ceremony and reception. She was very understanding of my lack of direction or exactly what I wanted music wise. I originally just said I needed dinner music, but last minute (like 2 days before) said we wanted the ceremony music done as well and she was completely accommodating.
We got married at our home and she showed up early that day to make sure she could make everything work given the ceremony and reception were on different areas of the property. She did what usually takes a lot of prep and planning in basically half a day. She worked amazingly with my other vendors and was so great at stalling when we needed extra time for cake cutting, first dance, etc.

For the music, I boringly suggested to her songs that felt like the typical wedding dance songs and she blew the crowd away with some of the classics and her own playlist that flowed seamlessly. Music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, then dancing was so perfect. I did not think I had a "dancing" crowd in attendance at my wedding, but much to me and my husbands, surprise she got the party dancing all night long. Even those that don't love to dance were having a great time. She just set an awesome vibe. We laughed, sang, and had THE best time.

Our groomsman paid to have her stay way past what I had hired her for, and she was so gracious and kept us dancing as long as she could! Her husband was there to help with set up and he was great as well! Such a fund duo to work with. I had so many guests say what an amazing DJ we had at our wedding and that it was the most fun ever. I truly believe Blyssful Sounds was the best money spent for my wedding! Thank you Blyssful Sounds for making our special day so memorable and a freaking blast!!

We hired Brittany to DJ our wedding and it was great! She and her husband did an outstanding job making our special day the best that it could be. She worked closely with us to make sure that the flow of the event and the music choices reflected us as a couple. Our dance floor ended up being much more lively than we expected it to be!! She and her husband make one hell of a team that is able to connect with every single wedding guest giving them a great time and excellent announcements so that there is not a single event missed! Brittany was SO easy to work with. She met with us over video chat to discuss game plan and share her tips for success when it comes to music for our day. She had us fill out a really comprehensive planner to get an idea of what we needed from her and then had us submit songs we wanted to play. From first look to late night, Blyssful Sounds provided the soundtrack of our dreams. They kept the dancing going the whole reception and even called us over a couple of times for a vibe check. We had such an amazing time and I will never forget dancing my heart out to Beyonce to close the night.

We cannot say enough good things about Brittany! She was so easy to work with and made us feel like she truly understood what we were going for with our wedding vibe, creating the perfect atmosphere for special moments, impromptu dinner karaoke, and disco heaven. She was invaluable in creating the perfect party flow — think seamless transitions, on point musical cues, and organic crowd work. And as much fun as Brittany brought, she was also such a whiz on the organizational side, making sure that every last detail was accounted for and helping us stay on track with our musical selections. We received so many compliments about Brittany, and are so glad that she was able to play such a huge part in making our wedding the dolce vita disco dinner party of our dreams. Plus, she's super cool and chill and fun and easy to work with — a win across the board!

Brittany is absolutely amazing! I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to be our DJ. She was more then just a DJ, she helped me create a timeline for our day of and was a wonderful MC all night! She played music we love all night and helped us decide on special songs for our big day. She was extremely accommodating through covid and made sure to meet with us many times to insure we were happy with the music being played. Brittany is incredibly kind, helpful and I would recommend her to everyone! I can't say enough good things about her!!
