Just do yourself a favor and hire Blue Moon. They're the best in the business, and our wedding couldn't have happened without Meg and her team. So many of our guests commented on how elegant the service was and how amazing the food was.

The Planning. Meg was there with us at every step in the process to help us create the perfect day. She did all of the coordination with our vendors from coordinating the schedule to helping pick day-of-details. She knows the vendors in the area, has a relationship with them, and has worked with them in the past, which made planning easy and stress free. She came to our house multiple times and jumped on numerous phone calls with us (with and without other vendors) to make sure that everything was just right. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect.

The Food. Meg and Chef Lion helped us design a perfect menu that our guests have been raving out. From the oysters at the raw bar to the short ribs to the crush station, everything was incredible. We had our wedding under a tent in the middle of a field, which can present a challenge, BUT not for Chef Lion!

The Team. People say you don't eat at your wedding, but we did! Our girl Chastity made sure we had a drink in our hands at all times, and all the food we wanted. The team made sure that the tables were tighty, our drinks were full, and everyone was having a blast. I can't say enough about the team because they made the day so elegant, fun, and incredible.

We can't wait to see Meg next time we're at Blue Moon, and are so happy that we got to work with Meg, Chef Lion, and their incredible team!

Thank you Blue Moon for delivering an outstanding catering experience that was without parallel! Meg’s extraordinary creativity, extensive knowledge and vast experience were on full display throughout each phase of our planning, preparation and wedding day activities. She listened intently and understood all our wants and needs so well…it was as if she channeled our thinking in order to provide the highest level of personalized service and support. Working with Meg and her talented team of professionals was easy and such a great pleasure.

Meg’s leadership and keen focus on details were especially noteworthy. She easily grasped the scope and complexities of our special day: an outdoor home wedding with an indoor toasting session, followed by a formal outdoor reception with dining, entertainment and dancing on our multi-level terrace overlooking Silver Lake. EVERY recommendation made by Meg (e.g., flatware, glassware and equipment selection, outdoor/indoor staging, menu selection, etc.) was spot-on and flawlessly executed to perfection.

Meg closely collaborated with all our suppliers, technicians, and entertainers to ensure deliverables were executed on time based on our timeline. She orchestrated the transition of our terraces from a wedding venue with seating for 72 guests to an elegant lakefront dining setting of eighteen tables – each fancifully adorned with all the bells and whistles (linen, floral arrangement, votive candles, table cards, etc.). Due to space limitations on our terrace, we opted to dine on café tables with high-back barstools efficiently arranged to maximize seating. However, we did not want space constraints to limit the formality of our special event. Meg and Blue Moon Executive Chef Lion created the perfect solution by serving multiple small plates - each arranged with delightful gourmet selections – augmented with delectable passings by servers circulating amongst our seated guests. Meg also assigned dedicated servers to tables, which created a very personalized dining experience for our guests – very similar to what one would experience in a five-star restaurant. Our guests absolutely loved it!

If you are getting married near Bethany Beach, DE or anywhere along the DE beaches, I HIGHLY recommend Blue Moon!! Not only is their food amazing, Meg is THE BEST. Meg is the catering manager but also acts as the day of coordinator/wedding planner. She made my day perfect and everything was flawless. She is so flexible and had so many suggestions to work within our vision and budget. Everyone raved about our food and her staff was so accommodating and thoughtful. Thanks again Meg!

If you’re trying to decide on a caterer, look no further! Having Blue Moon cater our wedding was by far the best decision we made! Throughout the entire planning process, Meg was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only does Blue Moon have the most delicious food, but Meg went above and beyond anything I expected from our caterer. She was the most professional, organized, friendly, detail-oriented and helpful wedding coordinator. All of the other vendors she recommended were amazing as well. Our wedding was located at the Indian River Lifesaving Station, a beautiful venue which we loved, but it had the potential to be a bit overwhelming as you need to rent everything from tables to trashcans. Meg helped us to work seamlessly with our rental company and I had zero stress about forgetting anything because I trusted Meg & her team 100%! On the day of our wedding, Meg and her team worked behind the scenes to make sure things went off without a hitch despite some windy weather concerns. My husband and I had the best day ever and we credit a lot of that to the work of the amazing team at Blue Moon. Oh and it goes without saying that our guests RAVED about the food!

I don't even know where to begin, but I'll start with MEG AT BLUE MOON & HER TEAM ARE THE BEST!! Seriously, stop your search and look no further! Meg and her team are amazing for the following reasons: the food is amazing and delicious, Meg knows the business and has been doing this for a long time--she had actually gotten married at my venue (Nassau Valley Vineyards) and knew the space very well. She was incredibly helpful and perfectly walked the line of giving suggestions and completely respecting what we wanted. Meg is the epitome of professional and an absolute pleasure to work with, as is her team who I really got to see in action on the day of my wedding. Let's just say that Meg thought she had a broken foot on my wedding day and I had NO idea until my Mom told me the next day--it all went out without a hitch! I owe SO MUCH to Meg and Blue Moon for making our day more than we could've ever wanted. I must also include that I am from DE but was planning the wedding from NYC. It was such a relief and really invaluable to have Meg, as she does a lot of the coordinating help for you, especially on the day of! Also, if you talk to any of the local vendors in Lewes, DE, Blue Moon's reputation precedes them. I really could go on......

Cannot recommend the Blue Moon enough!! Don't even think about using another caterer in the Rehoboth/Lewes/Dewey/Dover DE area. We had the most amazing experience working with Meg and her staff. Not only is their food THE best, and definitely the most modern/unique, but we had a completely customized experience that literally catered to our every need. Meg even helped with a majority of the event planning and worked as our day-of coordinator to ensure absolute perfection on our big day!! She is one of the most professional and detail-oriented people I've ever met, plus she was a pleasure to work with in every way. :)

I can not say enough good things about our experience with Blue Moon. Meg was there to help throughout the entire wedding planning process and truly went above and beyond. From choosing the menu, to finding additional vendors to figuring out last minute details before the big day, Meg was always calm, confident and professional. She made the entire experience stress free and fun! I can not imagine planning a wedding or another event without Meg and the Blue Moon. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the food Chef Lion Gardner prepared. It's been 4 months since our wedding day and my husband and I still have people tell us how much they loved the food and how creatively it was displayed. The catering staff was incredibly attentive, professional and friendly to all of our guests. To everyone at the Blue Moon who played a role in our wedding day - thank you for making it so perfect!

Blue Moon provides much more than catering for events - they are event coordinators, caterers, sanity keepers - our wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was if it were not for the amazing staff of Blue Moon. The food was amazing and the staff absolutely wonderful to work with. Meg does an amazing job from start to finish. She basically helped us plan and execute the entire event. She is very knowledgable about weddings and venues around the area. She was able to coordinate directly with our rental agency as well as the venue which was a huge relief for us. On the day of the wedding Meg was there to handle anything that came up leaving myself and the wedding party to enjoy the day. I cannot recommend Meg and Blue Moon enough. If you are interested in a low-maintenence event with exceptional food and service, Blue Moon is the vendor for you.

All I can say is WONDERFUL! Using the Blue Moon for all of catering needs during our wedding weekend was one of the best decisions we made! We actually went back to Blue Moon to help us with our food and menu selections for our events because my spouse and I actually shared our first lunch together at the Blue Moon, 15 earlier. We were drawn to the "Moon" for sentimental reasons but the truth is we would have selected Blue Moon anyway because Megan and her entire staff are A++++. From the minute we met with Megan, we found her to be kind, thoughtful and extremely helpful. Megan is delightful!! From helping to make a menu selections, to creating a tasting experience that was exciting and fun, to creating our specialty cocktails, to the assuring that the food and beverage at both of our events (a cocktail party and dinner reception) were literally picture perfect ... Blue Moon put us over the moon! Megan and her team of highly professional staff made one of the happiest weekends of our lives, one of the most delicious experiences as well. Love the Moon and everyone connect with Moon ... Megan, all the talented chefs and bakers, the bartenders, and all wait staff! Can't recommend them highly enough!
