The banquet staff at Blue Harbor are incredible! Throughout the whole planning process Annalise was there to answer any of my questions and help ensure the day was everything I wanted. She was knowledgable, direct, and accommodating. She understood my vision and helped bring it to life. Unfortunately she wasn't able to be there the day of the wedding which was a disappointment for us, but Erika stepped in. The event staff were constantly checking in on us and ensuring we had enough to eat and drink. The food was delicious! Everyone commented on the quality of the food. Once dinner was over it was cleaned up so quickly and ready for the dance party to begin. The staff was very attentive all night long. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to host my wedding. The beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking Lake Michigan made it so special. I would 100% recommend working with Annalise. She is the best!

Blue Harbor provides a great weekend wedding experience, especially if you have kids attending your event! The water park and arcade are great options for kids when the boring wedding tasks are being take care of by the adults. Our Blue Harbor rep, Annalise, was AMAZING! She was always there to help with whatever we needed for rehearsal, decorating, the ceremony, and the reception. We didn't have to worry about anything!

My only criticism is the price of the breakfast buffet at $20.00/person and drinks cost extra. The cafe was the only alternative to the buffet at Blue Harbor for breakfast and the service at the cafe was slow and not all that friendly.

Blue Harbor did a wonderful Job taking care of us. Our wedding was absolutely amazing. We would recommend this place anytime food was very good. We had amazing bartender and wedding planner. Annalise , our wedding planner did a great job ! The waterpark was a bonus, for the grandkids made it extra special, and we got to have breakfast with Santa nice surprise We were very happy with everything! Definitely going to visit the place again sometime.

We were so happy with our wedding at the Blue Harbor Resort! They were so welcoming to us during our initial tour (which wasn't the case at other venues) and seemed so prepared. Obviously the venue itself is just amazingly beautiful so that also played a huge role in our decision. Working with Laura was effortless and she was so helpful to us in many ways. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how flawlessly everything seemed to go. We did not have any major hiccups. They prioritized checking in our guests which was important to us since our wedding was at 3pm and check in wasn't technically until 4. Thankfully everyone was able to check in early and did not have to leave our wedding to go check in. We were very happy with the Blue Harbor and would choose them again if we had to do it all over again! I also got my makeup and hair done in the spa and was very pleased with the results. The staff in the spa could not have been any nicer!! I would very much recommend them as well

My husband and I had our wedding at the Blue Harbor Resort in the Peninsula room. It was everything we had hoped for and more! Our wedding coordinator, Laura, was the greatest help. She truly made it so easy to relax on the big day and not stress out over anything. She is so kind and so happy to be a part of your special day. The venue, ceremony location, and food at the Blue Harbor Resort were amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone considering having a special event here!

The wedding managers were very nice, helpful, professional, flexible, and easy to work with. Our ceremony was in the sand. I asked for the guests chairs to be placed in the sand and they were more than willing to do whatever we wanted. We accidentally left a few wedding items at the resort and they held onto them until we were able to swing back. They truly helped make our wedding perfect!!

Choosing Blue Harbor for our wedding reception was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Leading up to the day, Paulette, their coordinator, was very responsive with every question we had and on top of all of our deadlines. Between her and all of the rest of the catering staff our night went off without any issues. Not only is the staff amazing, the space is absolutely beautiful! Having our reception right on the lake was absolutely amazing. We would recommend Blue Harbor in a heartbeat.

Loved holding my wedding at Blue Harbor even in the middle of a pandemic! They helped catered to my atypical idea for food stations and absolutely nailed it! Everyone has been raving about the food and saying it was the best wedding the ever went to! If I could do it all again I'd definitely do it again here! Beautiful venue, great staff, on-site lodging, waterpark! It was everything we needed all rolled into one, made it soooo easy and perfect for our day!

The first time I met Paulette, she told me that she expected Blue Harbor and her team to exceed my expectations. I didn’t think much of it until after my wedding when I realized they did just that. I am a 2020 Bride- my wedding was originally at the end of May and was changed to August. Paulette worked through the struggles with us rather than trying to nickel and dime us on anything she could. She had reasonable solutions to everything and I was overall impressed with Blue Harbor’s response to COVID and postponement of the wedding. Paulette answered my questions promptly, often picked up her phone on the first call (rather than needing to play phone tag), and worked out every detail with me. The day of the wedding I didn’t see her much. Once I was introduced to my waitress, Jaime (who took great care of us at the head table), I asked her if Paulette was even at the event. She pointed Paulette in the back of the ballroom. Everything went without problems and I hope Paulette was standing there happy knowing she sure did exceed our expectations. She followed up promptly later in the week and was available for the final bill. I cannot say enough great things about her and Blue Harbor is lucky to have them as part of their team.
Paulette met me just before our rehearsal to sign the final estimated “bill.” As a bride that was definitely caught up in the moment, I did miss a few lines that were not what we discussed and ultimate had added charges after the wedding. Ultimately, I signed all pages, but after the fact and when bringing this up to Paulette, she was quick to resolve the issue we presented her with. There were a few other lines we didn’t mention because of the small amount and our satisfaction with her fixing the larger amount difference. I would recommend that whoever is paying the bill comes to the rehearsal dinner 15 minutes early to review EVERYTHING- or review the one emailed even a few days earlier (which I have to admit I didn’t as I was traveling to get to WI and got caught up in the pre wedding activities).
We also worked closely with Martina and Kendall with room blocks. Blue Harbor requires a 90% attrition which is a bit difficult in planning and was even more so with COVID. Fortunately, Blue Harbor worked with us regarding room blocks as well. While Blue Harbor is indeed a business, their staff made us feel as though they had our interest a priority rather than money. For that we appreciate them and recommend them without hesitation.
We stayed in a 4 room villa that was lake front. The villa was surely dated but served the purpose. The villas were in a great location however we were a bit concerned regarding the cleanliness, especially during a pandemic. My mother cleaned frequently touched areas (such as the railing on stairs) in which the Lysol wipe turned black- definitely confirming their “Healthy BLUE Program” was not strictly adhered to. There were many dead bugs that were plastered on the outside of the building by the doors and around the light posts that I thought could have been cleaned up especially considering we were getting ready for a wedding there were professional photography and videography there. The BH team did seem receptive to other advice or concerns and therefore we have trust that these issues will be addressed with their team and it will be resolved in the near future for any potential guests.
Thank you, again, Paulette and BH team. Our guests had endless amounts of compliments of the weekend. My 86-year-old grandpa told me he had one of the best filets EVER, others have said it was the best wedding they ever attended.

Our wedding experience at Blue Harbor was beyond exceptional. Every detail from vendors being recommended to the execution of even when the bridal party was supposed to walk down was was handled perfectly. The biggest most heartfelt thank you to Paulette our wedding coordinator for making our special day as easy, fun, and memorable as possible. Without her none of this day would have went as flawless as it did.
