We set up three appointments at Bridal shops and Bliss was our last stop. We honestly thought we were just trying on dresses; we had no intention of buying a dress on day one of shopping. However, Jess was super-attentive and the third or fourth dress was exactly what my daughter was looking for. I expected it to be expensive, but it was a sample dress-- and quite a bargain! We ended up walking out of the shop amazed and happy.

Everything was going great until I went to my alterations appointment at Bliss Bridal. To all the brides, never go for a larger size, even if they recommend it, stay with your size, but if you do, know (because they won't tell you) that at the time of the alterations, they will charge you at least $320 to takeoff the extra fabric. I trusted the information and recommendations from the staff, but at the time of my appointment I realized that just to remove the excess at the waist and shoulders ( I got 1 size larger, I am a size 4 and got a size 6) they were charging me $320. I ended up paying $700 for alterations (something basic: hem, waist and shoulders).
Unfortunately, I don't know another seamstress in New Orleans since I'm not from here, so I had no choice but to accept that price, I hope it's worth it!

This has been a terrible experience. Bought a dress from them and when it arrived, it was way too small. The measurements were clearly wrong but they won't take any responsibility. Now I have had to go find a new dress and they refuse to give any refund, saying "all sales are final". This has been the worst!! The dress won't even zip up! There only solution was to have fabric sent to us to sow it into the dress 25 days from my wedding. I don't know about you, but I don't pay 1300 for something I have to sow more fabric onto.
