Gayle was the easiest person to work with! She was prompt with answers and very friendly. The venue was set up beautifully and we didn’t need to buy any extras because they had it all! The food was outstanding. They really helped make our day so special!

BRCC is beautiful! Jordan was absolutely incredible to work with. She very attentive & paid attention to all our details and requests. When our special day came, everything went smooth! We owe it all to Jordan and her staff. Jordan also was very reassuring to my thousand and one bridal questions!
Our outdoor ceramomy had beautiful landscaping, the food was excellent and all our guests raved about how nice of an establishment BRCC was.

They were absolutely awesome! They took care of everything for me. Jordan was super great and professional and went above and beyond! The food was great, the service was awesome! I could not have been happier with them and I am so glad that I had my wedding there!

Jordan was very helpful and walked me through each aspect of having my wedding and reception there. She gave me names and numbers of contacts for music and draping, pretty much anything I needed. Made the planning very enjoyable and I wasn't stressed out at all!!!

Black River was our reception site. Jordan was our wedding planner for the site. Everything was perfect! It was a tent wedding and was just beautiful thanks to her guidance and help.

I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of service from my reception hall. It was very easy to get in touch with the Banquet/Events Coordinator via phone or email. She was very good about returning messages - phone or email. Everyone enjoyed the food (we did a buffet with a chicken dish and salmon as the main entrees). We got a terrific deal with off-season pricing since our wedding was in November. Plus, they had no other events going on that weekend (Thanksgiving weekend) so we were able to decorate the hall the day before the wedding. The coordinator was very nice to work with and was always willing to answer questions and to work things out - like changing the type of beer available at the bar, allowing people to order kids meals at the reception, setting up tables where we wanted them, even allowing us to use the formal dining room for our hors d'ouevres for the guests before we arrived (again, this was because there were no other events there that day). Overall, I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is on a budget. You will definitely get your money's-worth. The overall look of the room is a bit dated, but once decorated, looks excellent. All rentals are taken care of by the coordinator (all table cloths and colored napkins and chair covers if you want them). We did the chair covers and colored napkins and it really added to the ambience of the room.
The staff did an excellent job and were very friendly and helpful.
We looked at several places in the area near the church and this was the best place for the price - hands down.
Also, the coordinator was very good at working with me since I don't live in the area and had to communicate through phone or email.

Black River Country Club has a beautiful setting, delicious food, and staff is super accommodating! Only thing I would change if i was to be super picky is that i wish there was little more communication through the phone rather than email. But everything was perfect none the less! The coordinator Jordan and I had a miscommunication about linen colors and she fixed it without any hesitation the day before the wedding! She was SO great to work with! I would recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for a great value and a professional and courteous staff! I had a wonderful wedding and its because of Black River! :)

The coordinator was amazing, and really did all she could do to make our day amazing! Jordan was so pleasant to work with and the food was amazing! The bartenders we had were so friendly, and fun and our guests loved everything! THANK YOU!!!

I didn't like that they required you to have an open bar as opposed to cash bar or no bar. Some people do not want it. Some things felt a little unorganized the day of the event and it was stressful for me. We made our entrance and had no guidance with our cake cutting. Everything else was great though. The event coordinator is incredibly easy and fun to work with. Plus they have you four free rounds of golf for booking your event there!
