Hire Rachael. She put us at ease right away, captured all the sweet little in-between moments, and gave us great direction without making it feel too pressured or pose-y. We did both engagement and wedding photos with Rachael and I could not be happier with how everything came out. Her editing style just enhances everything without making things feel fake or overly edited - she just makes all the beautiful things pop. I think the photos speak for themself, and I hope to be able to work with Rachael more in the future on all our big life events.

When we first met her for the engagement shoot, we were pretty nervous. That lasted about 30-seconds, because she was so excited to shoot with us and so wonderfully engaging that she made us feel both comfortable and excited. We jumped right in and ended up getting so many incredible shots that we struggled to narrow them down in the end! And for the wedding?! UGH - the photos are beyond words. I still - 3.5 months later - pull them up pretty regularly to scroll through and feel the excitement all over again. She captured the elegance, the small details, and - most importantly - the human experience. You can literally feel the emotion of our wedding through Rachel's work.

Describing our experience with Racheal is difficult, but here goes nothing. It is said that few will remember what you say, but they will remember how you made them feel. I can honestly say, my wedding day had memorable moments my guests are not likely to forget. Our venue was located in a 100-year floodplain, and we were fortunate enough to pick the day of the 100-year storm. I absolutely mean fortunate. The amazing display of love and community we had the pleasure of witnessing made it all the more special. Despite the hazards, road closures, added stress, tornadoes, and general risk to personal safety, Racheal was there to capture the beautiful mess of our wedding. Racheal was our rock in the literal storm.

For those of you who have not had the pleasure of meeting her, she is charming, witty, offbeat, and persistently optimistic. Racheal was somehow able to wrangle the chaos through her lens and capture our night in incredible detail. The staged pictures were exactly what we hoped, but her candid shots are what keep us tearing up as we relive the night. As if all of this is not enough, her personal skills with both young and old had our guests wondering if Racheal was a close family friend.

Racheal is an incredible photographer, but more importantly an incredible person. She helped turn a day of murphy’s law into a happy memory we have the pleasure of reliving. We are very grateful for her and know you will be to.

Rachael is seriously the most fantastic, talented, wonderful photographer you could ever hope to have shoot your wedding. My husband and I got married in September, and we are so thankful Rachael was our photographer. She also did our engagement photos, and holy cow, they are gorgeous. Our wedding photos are absolutely magical. Rachael captured every special moment, and every picture is beautiful. They are everything I had ever hoped for -- and pictures are very important to me. I'm thrilled I can look back at all of these gorgeous pictures and be transported back to my wedding day.

Not only is Rachael incredibly talented, she also is an absolute joy to be around! When my husband and I first met her for our engagement photos, she instantly put both of us at ease. Rachael was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding! She was not only a very talented, professional photographer, but acted as our friend throughout the entire wedding process. She made sure everything was super low-stress for us, from when we booked with her until the wedding. She gave us recommendations on other great vendors she's worked with and advice anytime we needed it. Rachael was flexible and accommodating with all of the timing the day of the wedding and was great at managing our family and friends during formal photos, all while being pregnant! She went above and beyond with our pictures, sending us over 700 amazing photos of our special day.

Rachael did our engagement session in May of 2015 and we were in love with them (and her!) She is so easy going and funny that she makes anyone feel at ease! She is also incredibly talented!!! I could not wait for her to shoot our wedding! She is extremely professional, organized, and prompt with email responses. When she arrived on the day of the wedding, she got right to work getting detail shots. Everything was so planned out! Even the dreaded formal family photos went smoothly! I have found my lifelong photographer!

Rachel was very flexible, we re-booked a photography session due to weather which she suggested even. We hired her for engagement photos, bridals, and our wedding. The engagement photos were tough due to the location and heat but Rachel was in a good mood the whole time and had great ideas for photos and they turned out wonderful. The bridals were beautiful, she has an eye for lighting and scenery. Rachel was recommended by my wedding planner and since they've worked together before they were able to work a lot of the details together without my involvement (which I loved!)

I've been trying to come up with the words to write this review, and just cannot put them together in an appropriate way...so, take this review and multiply it by a million. Binford Creative was absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachael (lead photographer). Her photography is hands down perfect. It's beautiful and whimsical and candid and fun and all-encompassing. But, to top it all off, she is professional, flexible, a client-pleaser, generous with her time, sooo talented, calm and collected, attentive, organized and LOVES her job. She's not one of those that is good at her job and then leaves. She is passionate about photography and people, and she completely lives and loves her career. We honestly were so very blessed to have her be a part of our engagement and wedding. We will not be going to any other photographer for family photos or kid photos down the road, Binford Creative is our place from now on. (Rachael don't ever stop this business, we will have to hunt you down! haha) I have recommended Binford Creative to my best friend that just got engaged, and wouldn't want to see her use anyone else.
