My guests can't stop trying to come up with an event that they can hire Big River Pizza for. Steve and the gang are amazing and the pizza is beyond incredible. They went above and beyond.

We loved the food and so did our guests, but we had mixed feelings overall.
PROS:
- pizzas were delicious and interesting
- unlimited buffet option worked great for us, we liked that they could provide plates etc.
- had no issues with arrival/setup/etc.
CONS:
- The contact was very hard to reach at times. They were multiple instances we had to call and email many times to get a response when we had a question or update. I realize this is a small business, but this could really be improved.
- The first set of pizzas (served to the head table) were cold - this may not have been entirely their fault, it's possible we were a little behind, but wish they'd had a better solution to keep warm and I was relieved to find the rest of the pizzas served were piping hot.
- "Unlimited" cut closer than I expected - we were notified by our coordinator at one point that BR had 3 more pizzas they could make and then they'd need to go back and restock (which would take 30 min). Everyone had been through once and it seemed like at least a majority of the guests had had a chance for 2nds, so we told them not to worry about it, but I was surprised by how quickly they ran out (or maybe my crowd is just hungry?)
- The booking/planning process was't always as clear as it could be - Everything was just done in emails (no signed contract etc) and we ended up booking for a minimum of 130 guests way early on because we were asked what our estimated count was and that number in turn was used as the minimum on our invoice without it being made clear to us up front that that's what would be happening.
