Adam and his team were a pleasure to work with in planning our wedding last October. Adam went above and beyond to accommodate us through the pandemic and was always a pleasure to work with. The food was amazing and their team is such a creative talent and our guests have been raving about everything they ate ever since. Truly the best caterer in the Dayton area - you can't go wrong.

We came to Bernstein's just a few months before our wedding after a very rough search and our first option falling through. But they really came through for us. I have a severe dairy allergy and have been a vegetarian for 9 years and I really wanted our reception to be entirely vegetarian and vegan. Every other caterer we spoke to before we found Bernstein's tried to talk us out of having everything vegetarian and wanted to have specific meals set aside for me and any other guest with dietary needs. Bernstein's was the only place to not even flinch, Adam just said "yes we can do that". And the food was incredible! They gave us a really neat spread of food from all over and we got so many compliments from our guest! They were also so flexible and beyond helpful with everything! I definitely recommend them.

I cannot say enough about Lauren. There are literally not enough words to describe how wonderful this woman was. My husband and I came from out of town for our wedding so all of our communication was done via email, text, phone prior to arriving in Dayton. Once in Ohio, Lauren was there to serve. She made sure that the day was everything that we wanted and guided us through a lot of the decision making with expertise. She was also incredible in helping us deal with another difficult vendor. She dealt with this other person with grace and professionalism when they were being EXTREMELY difficult to all others involved. While it is now "our story" for the day and we can look back and laugh, it was extremely stressful at the time and Lauren was absolutely my rock. On to the food. Incredible. Everything was so absolutely delicious. They were able to cater to a diverse crowd and provided us with everything from prime rib to a vegan cauliflower steak. They provided us with our cake as well and to say decadent would be putting it mildly! They were also able to replicate perfectly a design we had found using our colors. They were an integral part in everything from setting up the tables and picking out linens to catering a delicious meal and clean up at the end of the reception. Lauren and Bernstein's were absolutely an incredible choice for our day and we thank them so deeply for their service and ability to be a part of everything for us.

Ladies and gentleman, let me tell you about Bernstein's Fine Catering... My now husband and I live in Chicago and had our wedding at the Dayton Art Institute (6th generation Daytonian here!). We tried several caterers, but nothing compared to our experience with Lauren at Bernstein's. From Step 1, she made the experience fun, personalized, and delicious. Rather than just giving us a menu from which to choose, she set up a meeting for us to chat through what we envisioned -- tastes we like, styles, we wanted, etc. -- and then created a tasting menu based upon that discussion, and took our suggestions on that ahead of the actual tasting.

AND THEN THERE WAS THE TASTING ITSELF... I really cannot adequately explain the deliciousness of this food. My husband had given up beef for a few months at that point, but had to cheat on this one day because it looked so good (and it was). We did a cheesecake buffet, and I seriously don't think we'll ever be able to have another cheesecake again-- it was so good. Lauren and Adam and Bernstein's were the clear winners.

At the wedding, Lauren and her team were a total delight. We had a few specific requests (e.g., food available to the wedding party during after-ceremony pictures) that they were quick to fill. Further, my one big wish was for a midnight (well, 10pm) build your own mac and cheese buffet-- over which guests have continued to rave. We also had our own signature drinks, wonderfully built and delivered by the Bernstein team. The whole night was a total blast, with much help from the Bernstein's.

Honestly, I'm kind of bummed the process is over-- I have been looking forward to that food since we first chatted, and it lived up to every expectation. We will be thanking the Bernstein's for years to come. Thank you, thank you, and thank you, for helping to make our special day so special!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Lauren and Adam made sure our day was perfect and I cannot thank them enough. Lauren went out of her way to do so much for us. She met up with us to pick out linens, answered every phone call and text, was patient with us, and SO much more. Our guests are still raving about the food as well. They made sure my dream came true and became great friends in the wedding planning process!

We absolutely loved working with Bernstein's Catering for our wedding! Adam was extremely accommodating as we planned our wedding from Texas, and he worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was delicious and ran so smoothly. We highly recommend Bernstein's!

Bernstein's did an amazing job at my wedding on 7-9-16! They wholly embraced the Indian/American fusion food we wanted and really made the coolest 2001 A Space Odyssey cake for our space themed wedding! It just couldn't have been better!! xoxo <3 #Tejmel

Bernstein's catered our wedding at the Dayton Art Institute, and they did a phenomenal job! They helped us create a menu that was fun, fresh, and suited for the time of year. Unlike other caterers that have a long list of pre-planned menu items to choose from, Bernstein's creates a unique menu for your wedding, based on your likes and dislikes. We received so many compliments on our meal. Everyone loved our appetizers--we had mini open-faced chicken parmesan, sushi, and grilled cheese with tomato bisque shooters. Bernstein's also created our wedding cake for us, which was beautiful and absolutely delicious.
When we had questions, they were easy to contact and quick to respond. We changed the menu a few times along the way, and they were always extremely helpful. They timed the meal according to our wedding schedule, which helped everything run smoothly. I'm so glad we chose them to cater our wedding. I would recommend them to anyone!

Bernstein's catering was outstanding for our fund raiser. We received many wonderful comments on the food. I would highly recommend them!

I don’t think I can write enough about the quality of service that Adam and his team at Bernstein’s provided. We interviewed 4 caterers and by far Bernstein’s was the most responsive, accepting, and you could tell they truly wanted the business. We were a bit apprehensive about the whole process, being a same-sex reception in a state that hasn’t yet legalized it (married in NYC/reception in OH), but Bernstein’s was welcoming and congratulatory. The whole process was easy from initial interview through the reception. They were able to answer any questions we had (unlike some others we interviewed), took the ideas we wanted and added their flare/expertise, and made incredible suggestions on what to provide since we asked for a “fall taste” to our meal (October reception). The presentation was great, quantity of food was abundant, and we are still getting compliments from our guests about how great the food was. The staff working the event was also top notch. I never saw a line at the bar, food prep and service went smoothly, and all the staff was friendly and many made it a point to congratulate my husband and I on the marriage and how happy they were to be able to work a same-sex wedding reception. I don’t normally have the need for a caterer in my daily life, but when I do, I’m definitely going to go with Bernstein’s again.
