I cannot say enough great things about Matt Stone. I feel as if I have thanked him in so many different ways and through many different mediums that I should have his "thank you" script/review memorized. However, each time I sit down to write a new review, I think of something else and another way to describe his benefit to future brides and grooms. My husband and I had a destination wedding in Seaside, Florida. We were fortunate enough to have a connection with Kim Stone Photography, who conveniently set us up with Matt ("Written in Stone" weddings) as our officiant. Not only are they talented individuals, but they are a dynamic duo if anyone is in need of both vendors. When I met Matt for the first time, I felt as if we were just old friends reuniting after a long time apart. He had the ability to be professional yet very personable at the same time, which means a lot to me. Matt provided us with a beautiful ceremony! He allowed us to personalize anything we wanted and was flexible throughout the entire process. I didn't know until after the wedding, but he made my husband feel very calm moments before the wedding - making jokes, giving advice, and telling him what to do in order to keep me calm. In my personal 'thank you' to Matt, I thanked him for his "kind heart and gentle presence" and I truly believe that sums him up - both professionally and what I know of him personally. Aside from providing us with a beautiful ceremony, Matt was with us throughout our wedding weekend from the rehearsal night and throughout our wedding day, during which time he was calm and confident in just the right moments, yet funny and "one of the guys" in all those in between. At the end of the weekend, he had made a fan club with the guys, won the hearts of the girls, and made a new friend in my husband and me. If you are looking for an officiant, I highly recommend Matt Stone. I'm positive he will create beautiful memories for others, just as he did for us!
