What a beautiful cake! And they were able to make the top layer in tiramisu, which is my daughters favorite. Lovely decorations, very professional - we were very pleased!

PROS: Excellently made, delicious cakes at very reasonable prices. Not horrendously sweet!
CONS: I had a simple, non-traditional cake and can't tell you how they would deal with more advanced details.

I had a short engagement and a short budget. I normally go to Belle's Bread because they are a delicious, not-too-sweet Asian bakery, but when I asked about wedding cakes, I was immediately put in contact with the baker, who assured me that they only needed 3 days of lead time and could do pretty much whatever I wanted--within reason. For example, I wanted 2 tiramisu cakes on top of each other, but she flat-out told me that they wouldn't stand up. But when I sketched a design for what I wanted on top of the cakes, she made it happen!

I don't know how Belle's Bread would do with a really fancy, tiered cake with rolled fondant or what-have-you. But I love that they were able to make 2 amazingly delicious cakes 3 days before the wedding (yes, that's exactly how much time I gave them!) and that any time I want to relive my wedding day, I only have to stop in at a locally owned business to pick up a slice of Tiramisu and feel happy all over again!
