Katie is my hair stylist and she provided me beautiful color and shine before my wedding day! In fact, the day I needed a gloss (Thursday before my wedding), Katie was supposed to be off work. She offered without hesitation to come in and to make sure that my hair was perfect and ready for my wedding day. Katie goes above and beyond regularly, and always makes my hair look beautiful. We dyed it closer to my natural dark brown so that I would look more natural on the wedding day. My hair looked great and much of that was in part to Belle Epoque and Katie being amazing!!

For hair and makeup, I had all the bridesmaids come with me to Belle Epoque. Rusty has done my hair since high school, so I couldn’t go anywhere else for hair and makeup! My hair, and that of all the bridesmaids, was beautiful. Each style looked perfect for the person. The makeup for everyone was individualized and perfect for each bridesmaid. She was fabulous. Everyone's makeup was flawless and gorgeous. Fantastic place for a fun and relaxed start to a busy wedding day!

Adrienne from Belle Epoque did a fabulous job on our hair and makeup. She and her assistant came to the church to help us get ready, which helped reduce my stress levels. I loved my makeup. She is the best at applying eyeliner! It's a true talent.

I don't normally go to this salon, but was looking for a downtown salon close to Club 1000 and a co-worker recommended this one. Darcy was the stylist that worked with me, although a few other stylists did the bridesmaids' hair. My hair turned out even better than I had hoped for! I loved the practice trial, but loved the day-of style 100 times better! The bridesmaids were all happy, too (as far as I know of!). We were able to bring in our own orange juice and champagne for Saturday morning mimosas and they even set up a table in the front window for us. Super cute environment and friendly employees = a great experience and way to start the day!

Myself and my bridesmaids had our hair and make-up done at Belle Epoque. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it. It's a spacious salon which is good for a group. They had a table set up for us near the front waiting aread that we could use for drinks and food which was really handy! They also were great about filling up my water bottle. As far as timing they kept on a pretty good schedule which was wonderful. All my attendants liked their services. I was not completely satisfied with my hair or make-up. I was not able to do a trial in advance which I'm sure would have made things turn out better for me on the wedding day.

This salon is super trendy and has a perfect downtown location close to a lot of hotels and wedding venues. Rian did my updo and I LOVED it! She was super sweet and really listened to what I needed. My wedding day was super hot and windy and my hair looked perfect up to the moment I took it out that evening!



Although I LOVED Rian (she gets an A+++++) I cannot say the same thing for the service my bridesmaids received. All my bridesmaids and FML got their hair done, and only 2 loved their hair. My MOH was in tears by the end of her hair and got her money back (seriously, this chick just kept brushing her hair and could figure out how to use a curling iron, it was unreal!). My other bridesmaid had to go back and get someone else to do it. All in all the manager was very patient and gave money back their money was owed, so that is good. However, it did cause a lot of stress in the morning and my MOH missed some of the early pictures because she needed to go to another salon to get her hair done (which made me very sad!).

I scheduled my hair and makeup here for my wedding day. I also scheduled one other hair appointment for one of my bridesmaids 30 minutes after my appointment. On the day of the wedding, I decided that for time purposes, my bridesmaid and I would switch our appointment times. Since she has a lot more hair than I do, it made sense for her to go first. When we both got there (at the same time) I told the front desk that was what we were going to do. Switch her time for mine. He had a real problem with trying to figure that out. It was a little ridiculous. It was just a hassle that I didn't care to deal with on my wedding day.

I got my makeup done and it was pretty well executed. If I had the same makeup (they use Tigi) I could have done a better job. However, I wanted a professional makeup that would resist sweat, running, tears, etc. It really didn't hold up to all the promises that the girl made about it.

I got my hair done as well. I have a short cut (think Ginnifer Goodwin) and I wanted it styled and sprayed so it wouldn't move much in the wind. The girl did an ok job with the style but she put so much waxy goo in my hair. She also did not follow direction and put enough hair spray on. Good thing I packed an extra can in my purse!

Also, as we were paying and all giddy and happy about getting ready together, the front desk guy pipes us again. He said that last time I was in (I had my hair cut a few weeks prior) that I tipped my stylist with a credit card and that from now on I'll need to tip with cash or check. Why in the hell would you tell me that on my wedding day?! I don't care. It's my wedding day.

I was not happy with the service or the results.
