The cake tasted great. I wanted something simple, yet elegant and they did a great job!

Maria and her team were amazing. They took our vision drew it out, scanned it and emailed it to us. We could not have been happier with the finished product. They took our vision and did that and more. Everyone was so impressed with our Disney themed cake.

Our venue uses this bakery. We ordered a cake upgrade and we were thrilled. It was a beach wedding and the cake was covered in seashells. It was absolutely beautiful to look at and was delicious!

We used Bella Palermo from Elizabeth, and we loved our wedding cake. Our tasting appointment was filling, and she brought out any combination we asked for.
We got our special made cake, 4 tiers 4 different flavors, with round tiers and fondant fall leaves and pumpkins. It was not too much and was just right. Best of all it tasted AMAZING!

The cake from Bella Palermo that graced our wedding was absolutely beautiful. We had selected a butterfly theme and the staff truly delivered. It was an amazing cake and not to mention that it was so delicious. Need a bakery for a wedding cake? You will not be disappointed with Bella Palermo.

The cake of my dreams!!!! I showed Bella Palermo a picture of the cake I wanted and they recreated it perfectly!! They worked with our reception hall so we were only responsible for paying the difference between what the hall allotted for our cake and the price of the customization. Let me tell you, we received so many compliments on the cake. We did each layer differently and it was a hit! We just enjoyed the top as part of our one year anniversary celebration, AND IT WAS STILL YUMMY!!!! I highly recommend them to everyone that needs a wedding cake!

Bella Palermo did a wonderful job on our cakes. The cakes tasted delicious and my guest still inquire about the cakes. The cakes created a wonderful impression.

The cake was pretty but was disappointed that the the filled layer was in the very top layer and not in the middle layer. Otherwise happy with service.

My venue uses this bakery. My fiance and I went for our cake tasting. They were very flexible with appointments and they did offer various types of cakes with fillings to choose from. We decided on a cake variation and they were willing to do it. We chose our fondant color in white and had sea shells done in neutral tones. Everything was great, until the day before my wedding. On our way back from rehearsal dinner I received a phone call on my cell from one of the girls at the bakery telling me that they see my invoice and that it was unpaid. I was like are you kidding me? I paid the upgrade with my credit card and you're coming to me stating that it is unpaid? I had to go home and look into my file where I kept all my receipts for the wedding the night before my wedding. The following morning, the morning of my wedding I had to be on the phone bright and early to tell them my wedding cake better be there and that I have proof of my payment in hand. The girl was very apologitic for the whole mix up. I was totally disgusted with the lack of professionalism, the lack of proper book keeping. You don't come to a bride the evening before her wedding to tell her that you can't seem to find my bill being paid, when in fact my bill was paid 4 months before our wedding date.
The fondant was not in the white color we chose, it was a beige color with neutral tone sea shells. The cake itself with filling was fantastic, thank God. Even though some of the things that were requested and agreed upon, I didn't receive, my wedding cake was beautiful.

Speaking spanish depending who you are dealing with is a must so things aren't lost in translation. I fortunately speak spanish. I would still recommend to someone, just be very much on top of them and go over the contract with a fine tooth comb on the details that you are paying for.

The were willing to make me a gluten free cake - along with 100 gluten filled (:P) cupcakes. Each cupcake had a sugar hydrangea flower on top, and the cake was covered in them.

The first time we went to meet with them, after setting up an appointment - they forgot we were coming and failed to give us any samples. There was also a woman picking up a cake while we were there who was VERY unhappy about what they had done, and said that they didn't follow her directions at all.

The second time they told us they couldn't make gluten free samples... so we had no choice but to 'hope' that it would be good. To be honest, it didn't taste all that great. I do a lot of gluten free baking, and it can taste wonderful... but this didn't. It seemed like there was way too much structuring material, and then the guy at our venue STILL had to hold onto the base of the cake to make sure that it didn't tip when we cut it. Nothing like having some random dude in all of your cake cutting photos... :/

Also - I asked for pink, purple and blue hydrangea flowers... and what I got was pink, blue and BLACK... wtf? Who wants black flowers on their wedding cake??

I guess they did ok, but I would recommend only using them if you have the chance to be VERY clear about what you want... and if you speak Spanish because I think a lot was lost in translation.
