Carissa is just amazing. She is so talented and just the sweetest person to work with. I placed a custom order for a bouquet with the book Princess Bride. She made a bouquet but didn’t like how the small pages made the roses smaller so she went on a hunt to find another copy of the book and remade the bouquet to her high standards. It came out perfect. I received so many compliments on the bouquet. And the best part is I’ll get to keep it and display it after the wedding in our library study.

Carissa, owner of Bella Luna's Flowers, makes the most beautiful modern and quirky paper flowers I've ever seen! We ordered 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 boutonnieres, and 180 individual flowers in 4 colors. I'll start from the beginning - right off when I contacted her about a custom order on her Etsy story, she was responsive, answered all my questions, and extremely patient. She was clear about ordering deadlines to ensure she could handle the workload (she's only one person after all!), and she kept us informed every step of the way. We sent fabric swatches of our wedding colors and she had paper and ribbon to match them perfectly, and even sent pictures to give a direct comparison. When it came time to picking the colors for the boutonnieres, we were initially sure what color suit we wanted to wear (gray or navy - I didn't want to pick navy flowers if I was wearing a navy suit) and she was incredibly patient. She gave her opinion when I asked for it, but never pressured me to pick one way or the other. She got to work right away, and let us know that we could finalize the boutonnieres later on when we'd made a decision. And when she completed them all, she sent some sample photographs, and responded to every comment/suggestion. It was funny, because I loved the original items she made for us, but I gave her just a few minor comments, and immediately she tweaked them to fit my vision exactly.

They shipped safely across the country (CA to NJ) in plenty of time for the wedding, and everyone absolutely loved them. Guests couldn't stop complimenting them! I wanted to have guests take a flower or two (or seven!) from the centerpieces as a sort of thank-you gift to them (and because who needs 180 flowers when the wedding is over), and there were people vying to see who could take a whole centerpiece because they loved these flowers so much!

I will definitely order from here again, and I'm already thinking of getting a nice bouquet for my mother-in-law.
