We first met Melissa while she was shooting my big sister’s wedding. After witnessing her subtle, personable approach firsthand and seeing the incredible photos that she produced, we knew there was no one else we wanted to shoot our own wedding. It was kismet (or a matter of my big sister having excellent taste...either way!). Melissa was endlessly accommodating, responsive, and flexible from the start. We had a slightly unconventional affair with few traditional mile markers during the ceremony and reception. But instead of going after the standard round of “wedding shots,” Melissa captured the moments we cared about the most, the essence of our Summer Solstice celebration. She was receptive, enthusiastic, and totally ready to go with the flow of the day. We’re so thrilled to have chosen Melissa as our wedding photographer, and wholeheartedly recommend her services!

Melissa was such a great photographer to work with. My husband and I planned our wedding from Seattle, and all we could do was rely on sites like this to find a photographer. Melissa's prices were reasonable, and her work showed she captured the best moments. We first met her at our engagement shoot, and she made us feel so comfortable, since it was the first time we were getting pictures taken of us. On our wedding day, she could have been my assistant! She kept me calm, she was fun, and she was super helpful with everything; from setting up the wedding, seeing where people were, and even helping me get ready.
