Becca was absolutely amazing to work with. We worked with her during our engagement shoot and wedding. Not only is she extremely talented but shes also organized, professional and creative. We were thrilled with how our photos came out. Becca brought a ton of different ideas to the table and helped put our mind at ease that our wedding would be captured perfectly and it was. Becca is an absolutely amazing photographer and really knows how to capture the most intimate moments! From the moment we met her, we knew she would be perfect to photograph our wedding. Having our wedding during a pandemic really screwed up our plans and they changed about 20 times. Becca was so understanding and helpful during the whole process and was ready to go with whatever we had planned. She worked with us to figure out a plan to split up our time on the contract since we had a small reception this year and plan to have a larger one next year. She was always happy to answer my million questions. She was so much fun during the day and made sure to capture all the moments that I requested and much more! I was worried about timing, but she made she we were on track and everything went smoothly. We met with her to go through all our photos and create our album 6 weeks after our wedding! I can't wait to have her photograph more for us in the future!! I would recommend Becca to anyone!

We used Becca Sutherland Photography for our wedding in October 2019. I knew Becca was the perfect choice for us after our first conversation. We immediately hit it off over the phone, and even though I hadn’t met her in person yet, I knew she was exactly who I was looking for. Her vision and style were everything we wanted for our wedding photos. I loved that an engagement photo shoot was part of the package. This gave us a chance to work with Becca before the big day. The experience was nothing short of amazing. She made us feel comfortable and helped us laugh through poses that may have seemed a little uncomfortable (especially for a couple that is nervous about being in front of the camera). On the big day, she and her team went above and beyond in every aspect from holding my train to helping direct and gather family members. It's kind of amazing how your photographer is there to take pictures, yet they somehow fill the role of being your right hand for the majority of the day. Becca filled this role beautifully and multi-tasked like no other! Not only does Becca have an amazing personality, but she is incredibly talented. Both our engagement photos and wedding photos were magical. It’s important to remember that you spend all day with your photographer(s) on your wedding day, and I couldn’t have imagined spending mine with anyone but Becca. Becca Sutherland is an incredibly talented photographer. She is wonderful, kind, patient and very, very knowledgeable. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Becca for almost a year and a half because we hired her immediately after our engagement. After meeting Becca for coffee to see some of her work and get to know her, I remember saying “uhh so um, I’m not sure how we are supposed to do this but uh...we want to hire you so like if you want…”. We clicked with her right away so there was no point in wasting time. Almost a year later when we set up to do our engagement shoot, the weather was less than cooperating but Becca was so flexible with us! We ended up having the Erie County Botanical Gardens to ourselves (!!!) and Becca produced the most wonderful collection of photos despite our awkward nervousness and “what do we do with our hands?!”. We had so much fun honestly! When the wedding was approaching, Becca was always available to answer my emails full of questions, and even meet up with us to discuss day of logistics (i’m very type A if you can’t tell from this review). When Becca arrived on our wedding day she was a literal rockstar for the entire 9 hours. She reassured me whenever I was anxious about timeline, she made sure to hit all of my requested shots and she was fun! I didn’t feel like I was dealing with a vendor, we felt like we were working with a friend. After the wedding, Becca sent us a sneak peak mini-album, she posted plenty of photos on social media and she had our final wedding album to us 6 weeks later. Becca was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding day and I will always cherish the photos she captured for us.

After working with Becca, we can honestly say that no other photographer could ever compare. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is also kind, resourceful, and so much fun! We used Becca for both wedding and engagement photos and I also had her take boudoir photos as a wedding gift to my husband. Every single photo session with her is a dream! She knows exactly how to pose people without making them feel uncomfortable or unnatural. Her photos are clean and beautiful. And, to top it all off, she's the wedding guru you didn't know you needed. On the day of our wedding, she fixed my veil, told me when my lipstick was smudged, and even bustled my dress in the middle of a park! We truly cannot speak highly enough of Becca and plan to use her for all of our future family photos. She is the best!

I cannot say enough good things about Becca! My husband and I were referred to Becca through a friend, and are so thankful we were! She worked with us through engagement pictures with 2 crazy puppies and for our wedding day. Our engagement pictures were so easy, and she made both of us feel extremely comfortable as we laughed through 99% of the session. The same was true on our wedding day.
