We love our wedding videos, Wyatt is awesome, we recommend you stop looking :)

Working with Wyatt was a breeze. He went absolutely above and beyond to make our day incredible and capture every moment possible. We agreed that Wyatt would start recording us while we were almost done getting ready. When he arrived at that time, he had already visited and gotten footage of the ceremony site, reception site, and taken drone footage of the entire resort because he wanted to beat the rain that was predicted for the rest of the day and did all of it without expecting a dime more. He even stayed until the end of the night as we also agreed on before the wedding. We were speechless. We had only met Wyatt once about six months before the wedding and we had a Zoom meeting a month out so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. We knew he was personable, laid back, a father, and reasonably priced. Looking back, we can’t believe we considered anyone else!

On our wedding day, it rained for most of the main wedding shots and Wyatt came prepared with several ideas including catching the rain in slow motion during our first kiss. During our ceremony, Wyatt recorded the ceremony on one camera, had a Zoom meeting set up on another (requested last minute due to COVID), and he and his cousin (who was job shadowing) captured additional shots from several angles. He allowed family and friends who couldn’t be there physically feel part of our day and we are so thankful!

Despite the rain, Wyatt was willing to go absolutely anywhere we wanted for photos regardless how wet we all got. The wedding got our hair and makeup done at our resort and the lighting was pretty terrible. In the rain, Wyatt brought in lighting he brought and moved it around as the makeup artist needed it. He was a great breath of fresh air. He even brought his cousin along to shadow him who was recently accepted into film school.

We spoke with Wyatt through WeddingWire and he was very responsive. Wyatt had shot videos at our wedding venue, the Honey Creek Resort, several times before with his previous company but wasn’t able to publish that work to showcase his skills. I was thankful he had experience there since we had only been there three times and our photographer hadn’t ever. During our Zoom meeting, we had discussed other options due to COVID. He was willing to do anything we needed even if it meant driving to Kansas City, Mo; about 4 hours from the venue.

After the wedding we emailed a few times and he kept us updated on his progress and let us pick from a few song choices or send our own. We got our ceremony video and the zoom recording the same day or day after the wedding, the final wedding video (~8 minutes long) about 2 months after the wedding (understandingly with a newborn), and all the raw footage shortly after.
