Bea Sweet Treats is a bakery based in Newburgh, Indiana. This mother-and-daughter duo creates beautiful cakes that look as good as they taste. Stephanie and Ashley bake each dessert with love and dedication to putting smiles on the faces of newlyweds and their guests.
The Bea Sweet Treats team is passionate about weddings. They love to craft cakes tailored to soon-to-be newlyweds’ event aesthetic while creating a unique flavor combination. Stephanie and Ashley offer tastings so couples can sample their favorite flavors. Some of the cake flavors they offer include classics like white, red velvet, and amaretto. Couples may also choose a specialty cake such as caramel espresso, cookies and cream, or white chocolate amaretto raspberry. Other desserts available include cookie cakes, cheesecake, and macarons. This team is happy to provide delivery and setup to ensure the cake arrives at the venue safely.

Ashley is our pastry chef and social media lady. She is 4th generation for cake decorating but decided to go to culinary school after graduating from Castle High School in 2013 to further gain knowledge of the other aspects of the baking world. She attended Sullivan University in Louisville and earn degrees in Baking and Pastry, minor-Personal Private Chef, Bachelors in Business management, and minor-Conflict Management. During that time she was apart of the Pastry Competition Team and took silver for her chocolate showpiece (which she had to fix in 30 minutes because all the team’s piece crashed in the car..). After school she had multiple opportunities to work with and for some of Louisville’s best chefs! Her favorite job was working in Fine Dining at Anoosh Bistro for Chef Anoosh Shariat as his Pastry Chef for a couple years. She learned so much from him including him sending her to New York to work with one of his prior students at the NoMad hotel. Ashley has since worked in most areas of the food/hospitality industry from helping her Husband at Five Guys, Marriott Downtown Louisville, other Fine Dining restaurants, start up bakeries, and more. She has truly loved and learned so much at each place she had the pleasure to work at. It’s only fitting that her next adventure is something of her own.
Ashley got Married in 2018 to her hubby, Brennon. They moved to Murfreesboro, TN after the wedding and stayed until Dec. 2019 when they moved back to Newburgh, IN. Brennon currently works at the Toyota plant. Together they have 2 loving fur babies, Ellie (1) and Phoebe (3 months). 💕 They love their Bible Study and their Crossroads church family! Ashley loves to be with her friends and family any chance she gets!

Meet Stephanie! She is our amazing fondant artist amongst many other things. She has been baking and decorating cakes for many years after learning from her grandma Bea! (Which whom we have named our bakery after!) She loved to go to grandma’s house and do all kinds of cakes and goodies with her.
She then married the love of her life, Mike Post, 30 years ago this year! He is a territory manager for Crafco, spin instructor and loves biking/triathlons! Together they had one daughter.. me❤️ Stephanie has loved teaching her craft to me as well as tons of other kids via birthday parties and especially Arts Smarts/ Camp Alive at Crossroads Christian Church where we are proud members. In her spare time, she likes to volunteer with The Honor Flights-Evansville since having the honor to take her 99 year old grandfather a few years past. We just lost him this year, but her experience with him as made her want to help others feel loved like they helped them through that experience!
She has an 11 year old Papillon Shitzu names Lola that gives lots of sweet cuddles too💕
Stephanie loves the chance to challenge herself more and more with different fun fondant/gum paste creations and other baked goods. She can’t wait to see what she can make for you! ❤️🥰🐝
