Shakayla was AMAZING to work with! Not only did she do my hair and makeup, she did my Maid of Honor's hair and my Bridesmaids makeup and she DID NOT disappoint. We did a trial appointment a month before the wedding and I was not certain on what I wanted, but Shakayla made it easy and stress free helping me navigate my way through. She was extremely responsive and her feedback was super helpful. The day of my wedding she was on time and came ready to work! We switched up a few things such as hair style, and slight changes in the makeup and I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life. My Maid of Honor's hair looked just like her inspiration picture, and my Bridesmaid gave Shakayla free range on the makeup because she was indecisive, and it came out STUNNING. My wedding started at 5PM and ended about 21:30 -- my hair did not fall and my makeup stayed on, I didn't even have to use the touch up kit she provided for us to use throughout the evening. I wasn't sure what to expect with hair and makeup because I've never had it professionally done, but Shakayla set the bar HIGH and I don't know if I would use anyone else, ever. She's got a great personality, she's very easy to communicate with, and she is a true artist; I was her canvas and she certainly crafted something beautiful.
