Michael and Diane were fabulous to work with! They did our engagement session, my bridal portraits, and the wedding/reception. They were rock stars for the wedding because there were some major issues with family the day of but they simply stepped back and made things happen to despite the chaos. They were actually able to get my groom to smile, actually smile, and that takes skill. I would recommend these two to anyone in the area who needs any kind of pictures taken.

One of the most important aspects of planning our wedding was ensuring that we had a professional, reliable, talented photographer who could capture all of the special moments of our wedding day; with Barrett Photography, we got TWO! Mike and Dianne make a fabulous team--they use their background in photo journalism to capture some great candid shots, in addition to the posed photos. They really put everyone at ease during the pre-wedding photos--there were literally no forced smiles or awkward poses, every picture looks very natural and beautiful! Our biggest problem with the photographs is narrowing down which ones will make the cut for the album! We would absolutely recommend Barrett Photography to anyone looking for professional, high-quality wedding and/or engagement photos (you don't even have to be in the Jackson area--they traveled with us to New Orleans for our engagement pics and our wedding weekend!).
