My now husband and I had a destination wedding at the Banana Bay Resort and it was absolutely amazing!!! We had toured a few venues in the Keys but something about this place just felt right. It has that Keys charm but also newly remodeled rooms and you cannot beat the view from sunset point! We had a wonderful experience. There was a couple
manager changes in the beginning but then Sean came in and he was so helpful! He answered all of my questions leading up to the wedding and was so responsive through emails. He made sure everything was taken care of. The weekend of the wedding him and his staff were so accommodating! They let me set out itineraries/welcome bags for the guests and made sure they got them at check in. Sean stopped by to check in on me and my girls and then visited my groom the day of and was even running around helping at the wedding as well. Him the Banana Bay staff really went above and beyond!! Everyone was so nice! Our wedding day was more than we could’ve ever imagined. The sunset on the point is breathtaking and our friends and family had a wonderful time. If you are considering getting married in the Keys, this is the place!!! We can’t wait to revisit on our anniversary!

Attended a wedding at Banana Bay in February! It was beautiful and the photos on this site are indeed photos of the Banana Bay Resort and wedding site venue. An excellent choice for a waterfront event.

The Point at Banana Bay was the PERFECT backdrop and location for our Keys wedding. The reason for not giving 5/5 stars was because we caught them at a bad time.(I hope) The sales person in charge of events changed hands 4 times in the span of 5 months!! Each time it changed, I wasn't notified. It was always a surprise when I would contact the resort and I was told someone else would be handing the wedding details. The 2nd new person, didn't even have any of my information, including our DATE on the calendar. If it wasn't for the perfect location and the lowest rate in the area (I was originally quoted the weekday price for a Saturday wedding, which they honored!) I would of moved my venue somewhere else. Each new person also told me a different story in regards to serving alcohol. The last and final person telling us we HAD to have a licensed bartender... something we were not going to have due to what the others had told us. So a month out I had to scramble to find a bartender. (Wishes to Weddings, THANK YOU!) In the end, it all worked out perfectly and our wedding went off without a hitch! I will say once everything was finalized with the last salesperson in place, everything went smoothly. The resort even asked the large yacht docked at the marina to move out to sea during the wedding so it wasnt blocking the sunset view. I was very appreciative of that!
