The cake was just beautiful. It was just how we pictured it and the selection of cake flavors and fillings was amazing. Everyone loved the cake. It didn't just look pretty, it tasted amazing! They also coordinated fresh flowers on the cake and around it with our florist. Everything was set up beautifully and they made up a couple extra cheater cakes and had then in the fridge in our hall so we would have enough serving for everyone without having a huge cake and keeping the price down. Wonderful service and delicious cake! I would highly recommend them!

Our cake turned out beautifully!! Beth was easy to work with. We gave her some sample photos and the cake turned out better than the pictures! Not to mention it tasted great too!

I live out of state and she was incredible at making me feel that she could accomplish my wants for our cupcake cake! It was a TOTAL hit and with a bunch of kids we had at the wedding, the cupcakes went fast!
Even with a bashed up hand from an unfortunate fall Beth had, she was still confident and provided a gorgeous cake for us. We had a top two tiered raspberry cheese cake and an assortment of carrot cake (the BIGGEST HIT), white, and red velvet.
Her pricing was very reasonable and her skills are incredible (very near coparison to the famous bakers on t.v)! I wish I lived close because I'd get EVERY cake for EVERY occassion from her!

The cake was exactly what I wanted, it tasted great too! Beth was great to work with and did a fantastic job!

Beth at Bakery on State provided our wedding cake for our recent wedding, and hands down, this was the best cake we have EVER tasted! So many of our guests came up to us saying how amazing the cake was. This is for real. Our cake was their specialty cake where each tier is composed of white cake and cheesecake with a filling inbetween. Unbelievable! We chose the raspberry filling.

During the planning phase we simply went in to the shop with photos of what we liked, looked at the many, many books she had in the store and decided on a cake. Also, we wanted real roses draping our cake and Beth coordinated with our florist to make it happen.

This is the best cake you will ever have.

The cake looked and tasted wonderful!! It was the best tasting cake we've ever tried!! Although the cakes are pricey, it's definitely worth every penny! Wonderful, friendly service!!!! It was great!
