We picked Bakery Nouveau to make our wedding cake as we've been regular customers since we moved to Seattle and it was a nice opportunity to support a local business, so it felt like an easy choice!

We worked with Joellie and she promptly sent over a COVID-friendly tasting box, which was a fun activity to do at home and it gave us time to think over our flavor choices.

Joellie was very patient with us as we changed our minds multiple times and was the voice of calm at a time when I was so exhausted from postponing and canceling a destination wedding and trying to put together a nice wedding within 5 months with Delta emerging.

We went with a large 2-tier cake and three 1/4 sheet cakes in varying flavors, and we're SO glad we offered our guests (and then ourselves after) a variety (chocolate with raspberry cremeux filling and vanilla butter cream icing); classic chocolate cake; carrot cake).

From a planning standpoint, it would have been helpful to have a sort of PDF catalog to see what the finished products would look like, particularly the cake decor (chocolate bark, macarons, gold pearls etc.). It would have cut down on some our lengthy email thread and saved us time hunting down pictures on Instagram/website to get a visual understanding. This was but a a small inconvenience to me.

We were thrilled with the flavors of the cakes and the polished design. And it's been a delight to eat leftovers in the days following the wedding. Thank you Bakery Nouveau!

Bakery Nouveau made us flourless Chocolate Decadence cake that our wedding guests gushed over – and even more impressively, delivered eight of them the Saturday of Labor Day weekend to our venue. A++, would order again and maybe save one for ourselves!

Best bakery around. I ordered 2 cakes for my wedding. They were amazing and lots of comments from our guests. We get all of our things there including small pastries ( very unique). They also have excellent sandwiches and coffee! A must!

We ordered sheet cake from Bakery Nouveau and it was delicious. Highly recommend them if you want to give your wedding guests a dessert they'll remember! Sheet cake is very affordable and we just had my mom make a small tiered cake for cutting. Much cheaper than getting a classic wedding cake from a bakery!

Not only was my wedding cake gorgeous, it was the best cake that myself and many others have ever had. Thanks for helping make my big day, truly wonderful!

AMAZING.. my wedding was 10/10/10 and everything was so great we had 3 different kinds of cake 3 different tarts and macaroons and Carmel Creme puff..(my personal fave) EVERYONE LOVED IT!

Bakery Nouveau's cakes were amazing! We didn't want just one big cake, so we had a bunch of smaller cakes and each one was delicious! They looked beautiful too! And everyone got a good size portion, not a tiny piece.

First off, William was wonderful to work with - but I have to say, his work is hands down some of the best pastry work I have ever seen. We had a French themed wedding, so we opted for non-traditional desserts. We had a towering Croque en Bouche, French Macaroons and salted carmels. YUMMY! The desserts were a beautiful picture when plated - one cream puff from the croque en bouche, two macaroons, and two salted carmels. It was a highlight of the evening.

We went a little nontraditional in the way of wedding cakes and really just wanted not only a beautiful cake but one that also tasted amazingly decadently delicious. I absolutely love Bakery Nouveau there isn't a thing in there I don't like, so after looking at the outrageous costs of wedding cakes we started looking at alternatives.

I emailed Bakery Nouveau and told them I was interested in doing some of their mousse based cakes for a wedding. Heather the manager for the bakery responded promptly and she set up a day for us to do some tastings. Everything was so good it was hard to decide so Heather made a suggestion that we use cakes as our centerpieces on our wedding tables. I loved the idea and we decided to go with a few different flavors of cakes which would encourage our guests to mingle with each other to try out the different kinds of cakes. The cakes were very reasonably priced and they were so so good. The only problem we had was that the cakes were a little rich and people ate less than we expected and ended up with quite a few leftovers, but there are much worse things in life than having to eat leftover cake for a few weeks :)
