We found out about Laura & Azucar Rococco from a friend who had one of the most beautiful (and delicious) wedding cakes we’d ever seen. We loved her multi-tiered traditional cake, but knew we wanted something different for our wedding day. When we met with Laura for an initial tasting, we were blown away by the flavors of the cakes and frostings she shared with us, and were hoping she’d be on board with doing a smaller cake and a few different cupcake flavors. Not only was she on board - she seemed to have so much fun coming up with flavors and combinations! Our second tasting was incredible -- we had such a hard time selecting the flavors we wanted to use, because we loved them all! We ended up selecting fresh fig buttercream, handmade peanut butter frosting, mexican chocolate and ancho chili frosting, apple pie, lemon, and maple bacon. We wanted a personal cake as well, and Laura was able to look at a picture we had of a cake we liked and recreate it perfectly! It was delicious AND beautiful. Laura is so much fun to work with -- she’s so sweet, professional, and clearly loves what she does. We have already had Laura make a birthday cake for a friend’s celebration, and recommend her whenever someone needs a special dessert.

She not only made my cake But I've recommended her to a number of people and so far all 4 people who went with her LOVE THEIR CAKES (and their cakes were not wedding cakes.)

she does all kinds of cakes! so many creative flavors! Our cake had a different flavor each tier: Orange cake with cranberry cream, choco cake with choco ganache, Lemon cake with lemon curd, a cake that tasted like Tiramisu, Red velvet with hazelnut cream (it was like a reese's buttercup!) and I can't remember eh rest, but you get the picture.

Laura was a joy to work with. So happy and you can feel the love she has for what she does. A sculptor on the side, it's no wonder elaborate designed cakes like mine were no challenge.

She is officially our baker. Can't wait to post more of her work for you!

We wen for a tasting and was delish! But the cupcakes an cake taste very different at my wedding. There was hardly any frosting on the cupcakes under a thick layer of fondant. I asked for light purple cupcakes and she showe me the color at the tasting and when I saw my table at the weddin they were BLUE! It clashed with my whole decor. I wasn't notified that my cake topper wouldn't fit even after I brought it in to confirm it with her, so the day of the wedding during set up she just put it next to my cake and left after se up and we never heard from her. my mom had figured this out when she gt to the venue to set up. So she hate in arrows ad pick random flowers from my center pieces to put on top. My cake looked very different from my picture I brought in. She also left nothing for us to take home our cake or extra cup cakes, thank god the caterer had something. She really hyped up her work and said she was super busy so we felt our wedding was on the back burner when we worked with her.
