If we could give above a 5 star, we would! We fell in love with Avery’s candid photography style while looking through her website and profiles. Equally impressive was her personality, professionalism, communication, and attention to detail! Avery worked within our budget, something we are forever grateful for as we badly wanted her to be our photographer. We never waited more than 24 hours for an email response and text replies came fast, this was extremely comforting as two people from out of town. What we couldn’t believe was AFTER our wedding, how many people asked about her! Avery made an impression on everyone! From the initial phone conversation on our planning stages, Avery went over and noted with us key shots we wanted as well as people, timelines, and the route of the Second Line band- she even collected contact information for the other vendors (Ceremony location, Reception, First Look location) in case of questions for lighting, spacing, etc.

Avery took great photos and was a gem to work with. 100% satisfied with her work! And she was so fast with providing us with pictures, previews within a week, the whole edited set the same month.

Our photos haven't even arrived yet and I knew I wanted to review Avery right away. She was so flexible, and accommodating that we knew we were getting great service in this department long before she even set foot in the venue.

We did very few posed portraits, but I know that her direction will result in good shots. Any photos that I was able to peek at over her shoulder also looked fantastic, and I can't wait to see the finished results.

Avery was also willing to follow us a few blocks down the street to our after-party, which was truly appreciated. She was so laid back and fun to be around that she almost blended in as a guest, which I imagine will result in some remarkable candid shots. In fact, several people commented that they assumed she was a friend who had agreed to shoot our wedding because that's the feeling everyone got off of her. Who can ask for more than that?

We love our engagement photos SO much and we're really looking forward to our wedding day photos as well. Avery is timely, professional, creative, and fun! I love that our pictures don't come off as too posed but instead really capture our happiness and lightheartedness. Our photos came back edited within a week, so she works fast! She also gives great deals for bundles, which is a plus. I highly recommend Avery!

This photographer has a really artistic eye that portrays the subject in a way that is flattering yet not synthetic or cliched, which is often a risk with wedding photographers. She seriously makes the subjects look like they could be models in an art photography magazine, no matter what size or shape they are.

Ms. Avery was absolutely phenomenal! She took photos of our ceremony which was out side during the day. And our reception, which was in a very dim lit hall. And the pictures came out perfectly. She took a lot of pictures and my wife and I don't feel like we missed any part or anyone in the wedding when we look back at the photos. Awesome awesome job. Thanks Avery!!

There will never be enough words to describe how much I love Avery. We were looking at a few different photographers, but as soon as I met Avery in person, I knew that she was the one that we should hire. She's warm, friendly, and has a great eye for beautiful pictures. We brought our dog with us for our engagement shoot, and Avery was SO patient with our little ADD pup and took extra time to make sure that she had pictures worth putting her name on. At our wedding, she was moving quick on her feet to catch all of the shots as quickly as possible. Her eye for good lighting and great moments speak volumes and it shows in all of her photos. I'm so so SO happy that we hired her and I would be happy to hire her again for any other photo shoots that we want in the future!
