To start, I ordered two Baskets Of Memories arrangements for the front of our church to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary renewal of vows at our church on October 26, 2013. I wanted to ensure that the flowers would be here on time so I ordered them 6 weeks before the day of the event. They were supposed to be delivered to my home on October 25th by 2 PM, so we could take them to the church. No one called or came to deliver my order, so by 3 PM that Friday before the ceremony, we called Ava's Florist. They charged my Visa card $130 for the order, but told my husband on the phone someone dropped the ball on their end and the flower order was not sent. Therefore at the last moment, Fairfield Flowers had to put together two arrangements for our ceremony. I paid for Deluxe, I got Standard, which were puny and pretty insignificant for what I needed them for. I asked for purple yellow and white flowers to go with my theme, I got two arrangements of mostly yellow and white flowers, with a few pops of purple in it. I was SO disappointed with Ava's Flowers as a result of their incompetence and unwillingness to deal with their mistake until we insisted that they take care of this. Brides, celebrants of something big? Save your hard-earned cash, and get your flowers local! This place is a rip off.
