Authentic Weddings is a wedding officiating service operating out of Ooltewah, Tennessee. Woman-owned, our couple-unifying enterprise is dedicated to all things matrimonial. We strive to celebrate and uplift all kinds of love, no matter what. We happily work with couples from all orientations, faiths, and belief systems. LGBTQ+ friendly.

Authentic Weddings is prepared to guide you through your entire journey, from premarital counseling to the day-of ceremony. With a team of five officiants, in addition to standard ceremonies, we offer:

Authentic Weddings also shares sample ceremonies, writes custom ceremonies and vows, and does everything we can to make your day as special as you hope it will be. Our goal is your perfect day with Weddings Your Way!
Based in Chattanooga, our officiants are happy to travel to destinations throughout Tennessee and surrounding areas including Knoxville, Gatlingburg, Sevierville, Nashville, Cleveland, Tellico Village, Soddy Daisy, Hixson, Dayton, East Brainard, Ooltewah, and Colledage, as well as some areas of Georgia.
After your big day, Authentic Weddings will either mail your wedding certificate to you via regular postal mail for free, or priority mail with tracking for $25.

Debbie was absolutely awesome! Harold and I are not religious people so we didn't want any religious references in our ceremony. Debbie was right on it! She had a questionnaire for us so that she could get to know us a little better. Then she tailor made a beautiful set of vows that said EXACTLY what Harold and I wanted to say to each other. Harold got so emotional repeating his vows that he cried! LOL
She was prompt, professional, friendly and puts you at ease the moment you meet her.
I have NO DOUBT that she could handle ABSOLUTELY ANY type of wedding ceremony. Look no further! Book her now!Authentic Weddings's reply:

Debbie was awesome. Our elopement was kind of last minute but she was able to accommodate us! From the very first phone call I had with her I knew she was the one. She answered all the questions we had and did not know we needed answered.To top everything off it was going to rain on the day of our wedding and she offered multiple location options to accommodate the rainy weather and did not oppose when we wanted to have our wedding outdoors!

My background as an ordained minister includes over 20 years experience in hosting retreats and speaking...teaching groups and individuals how to move in their gifts and motivating them to let their light shine in the world.
I love to share wisdom, humor, and encouragement with every person I meet. One of my greatest joys is helping you see how amazing and unique you are, and encouraging you to live your most authentic life. No matter where you are on that journey, I can speak your language and help you on your way.
Living my authentic life includes reading, riding motorcycles, going to the beach (my happy place), enjoying funky coffee shops, playing chess and dice games with friends, playing guitar and drums, singing, binge watching Netflix, lounging with my four chihuahuas and spending time with my spouse and enjoying life.
