I got married on 10/27/23 and needed 2 transfers from our hotel to our venue. One transfer at 3pm for the bridesmaids and myself (bride) and another transfer at 4pm for the groomsmen+groom. I booked this company (not knowing that it would be the same bus/driver for both transfers - important information since our venue was 30+ minutes away from the hotel in the middle of Boston on a Friday afternoon (rush hour traffic time)).
When I went to the lobby of the hotel with my bridesmaids at 3pm, the shuttle bus had not arrived yet so I called the driver and was told they were 15 minutes away. Okay, we'd be late but that's still doable.
Once 3:20 rolled around, I called again only to be told it would be another 15-20 minutes. This was absolutely not going to work and I was then told that this driver would be doing both the 1st and 2nd transfer. I was furious that they were not honest the first time I called and would have been able to figure out an alternative at 3pm instead of 3:20.
I explained that there was no way they could come pick up the bridesmaids (late) at 3:30, drive us to the venue and make it back in time for the groomsmen at 4pm. They said "sorry, there's traffic". Yeah, no kidding, it's downtown Boston on a Friday but why wasn't this planned for ahead of time?
We had to scramble to figure out transportation for the bridesmaids/myself to get to the venue but unfortunately we were then over 45 minutes late and ended up having to cancel our bridesmaid photos. I was and still am devastated that I will never get back that time with my bridesmaids and I'm so upset that I will never have the pictures with them that I wanted.
I tried reaching out to this company several times since the wedding to discuss a refund for the transfer that we never received and I have never gotten a response. I think it's extremely unprofessional and I simply cannot recommend this company for transportation needs.
