Our sales and catering manger David Caine was awesome. He just started at the Marriott at the time our planning process started and he jumped in and made it all possible. We had a beautiful and well planned wedding. Everything went as expected..

Everything was FANTASTIC. We received a significant amount of comments from our guests regarding the food. They felt it was on par with a 5 Star restaurant. The hotel staff treated us and our guests like VIPs. Also, no need for a wedding planner, Sonia was not only professional but so very helpful with all the details that are involved in planning and executing a wedding. She was very committed to making sure everything was perfect for me and my husband.

The Atlanta marriott buckhead hotel was great all the wat through my whole wedding they were very attentive and making sure my day was beautiful and it's was beautiful from top to bottom from my vendors in place to the wait staff during the reception. You will not have to stress about anything if you book this hotel for your special day I could not have asked for a better place or better people and the food was delicious my guest could not stop talking about how they were treat all weekend long!!!

We got married on Labor Day weekend in Atlanta and hosted 35 rooms for out-of-town guests in a block here. Initially, there was some event manager turn over, however when the wedding weekend finally arrived we had a great experience with the Director of Catering/Conference Center, Doug Blue. Doug helped us solve every problem throughout the weekend to include taking care of the welcome bag delivery, our suite and parking, any and all guest issues, making the guest van available when feasible, vendor parking, etc.. Our suite was amazing and exactly what we needed for the wedding and all its events. The mall was very convenient for our guests and any last minute issues and the location of the hotel was close to our venue (American Spirit Works), the rehearsal dinner (King + Duke) and the Crossfit gym we went to for a group exercise event. The group rate we got was reasonable, especially in light of the holiday weekend. We were very happy with our experience here, especially Doug! Highly recommend.

Sonia Hardy and the entire staff at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel is amazing!! They made our wedding weekend perfect. All of our guests loved the hotel and the staff. The location is perfect - nested right in the heart of Buckhead; within walking distance of Lenox Square Mall and Phipps Plaza. We did an entire 4 day indian wedding at this hotel and Sonia took very good care of us. Planning with her was perfect. She's extremely organized and got things done quickly and on time (i'm the same way!). I told her that having every event on time was my #1 goal with the wedding and she made sure that happened. Her staff was perfect, professional, and super nice. The ballrooms were beautiful. She allowed us to bring in everything and provided us any props that we needed to make the event a success. This hotel was the perfect spot for our wedding and thank you for making it such a wonderful and memorable weekend for us!

We are very thankful to Sonia and the rest of the staff at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead for hosting the perfect wedding reception for us!

Sonia was very responsive and I feel like she and the rest of the staff did a fantastic job at providing an excellent level of service for us and our wedding guests. It was very impressive to us that they really thought through so many small details that ended up being the perfect touches -- waiters with white gloves, the food they prepared for our dinner, everything.

Speaking of the dinner, ALL of the dishes we offered during our seated dinner were outstanding. I know friends who had to sacrifice food quality during their reception but I feel so lucky everything was so great.

It seemed like the Marriott Buckhead was so much more flexible than many other venues we looked at to host our reception. Other venues had restrictions on what we could bring in (centerpieces, etc.), for example, which did not fit in with our theme! They also have their ballrooms in a separate wing (connected to the main hotel by catwalks) so the music won't disturb guests.

They are also very flexible in creating a room block for your guests and their packages/promotions/complimentary add-ons they seem to offer pretty regularly seem to be great all around!

The service is beyond fantastic. For example, they inform all of the hotel staff about the event, so if a guest approaches the front desk and has forgotten where the ceremony or rehearsal dinner is, they would have been able to tell them!

I would definitely recommend holding a reception at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead.

I had my wedding and reception at this hotel. I hate to admit I looked elsewhere before we signed on the dotted line. I absolutely have no regrets. Sonia Hardy is a super wedding planning diva. I mean that in the best way. She was so patient with my new hubby and I as we worked on the details of our wedding. What I most appreciated about Sonia was her constant encouragement about creating the "wow" factor for our wedding. Well Sonia and the Marriott did just that. We had many out of town guests in for our ceremony. No on complained about their rooms and all of those who attended the reception had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food.

I loved how they set up our sweetheart table. We had a great view of our band and they had a dedicated server just for us. I kinda felt sorry for the guy because he was there all nite then we saw him again the next day at our brunch! Our guests loved the fact that we had everything in one place. The transition from the wedding to the reception was flawless. Our guests just had a super time. In fact we learned two couples were having so much fun they decided to get rooms too!
My one regret was not taking advantage of the Marriott's bridal concierge. Unfortunately for me there was a conflict and now looking back, I should have gotten "over it". Sonia pretty much was there to make sure we were happy. She even stopped by at the brunch the next day to check on us and our guests. Sonia is consumate professional and she will assure you the Marriott will give you the best wedding and reception ever!

The Catering Sales Manager Sonia Hardy was amazing and made my "Princess" fairytale wedding a reality. She is professional, creative, extremely knowledgeable and patient. She was accommendating, helpful and made sure her staff followed her instructions to the letter. I felt like "Royalty" and she made sure that I was worry-free and well taken care of. She saw my vision and provided assistance, guidance and direction as well as great creative ideas. I love this hotel, the staff and the team Sonia Hardy has at her disposal.

I'm so glad I chose the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead for my wedding venue. Not only were they so accommodating to my needs, but the food was absolutely SUPERB! Myself as well as the guests are STILL talking about how wonderful the food and service was at the reception. The coordinators Sonia and Nia were PERFECTION all the way around - from being flexible with the menu selection to my suite for getting ready. They followed through on the execution of my wedding by staying for both the ceremony and the reception, ensuring that everything flowed smoothly. I would definitely recommend using this venue for anyone looking for a place to get married. It was definitely worth the money spent :-)!
