The original Botanical Garden was founded back in 1973 and quickly gained popularity and became the sprawling floral paradise that it is today. The Garden expanded and eventually opened its second location in Gainesville in 2015. This new site is proud to offer the largest conservation nursery in the entire Southeast. Visitors will also find a wide range and variety of plants and landscapes. In addition to these natural beauties, the Garden is also known for hosting many different cultural events. The entire property has been meticulously planned and carefully maintained and offers a gorgeous backdrop for you to exchange your vows and host your reception. Other celebratory events such as your engagement party, bridal shower, and rehearsal dinner can be held on the property as well.

Facilities and Capacity

The Atlanta Botanical Garden Gainesville offers couples the option of indoor, covered outdoor, or uncovered outdoor sites. The garden features a variety of plants, and there is always something blooming so you can have a lush and flowering backdrop regardless of the season. The Glade Garden is an intimate site flocked by an abundance of trees and can easily accommodate 150 of your loved ones. If you are planning a grand wedding, the Event Lawn is perfect as it can easily accommodate 500 guests. The Event Room and Terrace provide sweeping views of the Garden from within a conditioned space while seamlessly flowing onto our intimate Terrace by the pond (equipped with a fireplace and heaters for colder months) and is perfect for hosting about 100 to 200 guests, depending on the setup.
