I recommend this place to anyone. They did an amazing job with the decorations and the food was delicious. We absolutely enjoyed our wedding!

The facility is beautiful! The staff was very helpful and accommodating! The food for the reception was excellent! The price for use of facility and food for reception very reasonable.

Absolutely beautiful location! You can have either an indoor or outdoor wedding or reception. The wedding coordinator for Amicalola Falls was very helpful in answering any questions and seemed to do everything she could do to make our wedding day exactly what we wanted it to be. However, the hotel incorrectly booked the entire hotel for another wedding party (even though their wedding was not at the Falls) so that none of my guests could reserve rooms until 2 weeks before my wedding. Also, we were told that we would have the entire area downstairs during rehearsal and afterward to set up for the wedding the next day, but we were kicked out because the other wedding party was going to have their rehearsal dinner in one of the rooms. We were only allowed to have our rehearsal dinner upstairs in the main restaurant with a buffet - no privacy. Other than that, fantastic venue!

The venue was beautiful and the staff was very helpful for the most part. The price was steep, and there was no negotiating it at all. This venue is a State park so the rules are stricter than other places. If you decide this is the place for you because of the break taking views, like I did, DO NOT let a lady named INEZ COUCH assist you. She did a horrible job throughout, and did not coordinate the day of the wedding. My mother and mother in law had to pick up a lot of her slack. I would request that RONNA and only her assist you because she is much more competent and experienced in making her clients happy.

The location is beautiful, it just so happens the Lodge started remodel construction 3 months before our wedding and was not completed on time. So the staff did everything they could to accommodate. Guest rooms that we booked were also not entirely complete and then it rained on our wedding day so there was an overcast and could not see the mountain views during the ceremony. Food service was rushed and meat was undercooked and tough. Staff was in a hurry to clean everything up so some decorations and memorabiliums were lost. It was a last minute venue choice 5-6 month notice so overall the memories and fellowship outweighed our misfortunes.

My fiancé and I loved this venue. It was under construction when we toured but would be done by our wedding at the end of October and fell in love with the views. It was one of our top picks. I am disapprove say they never even came back to us with a quote. I emailed several times with no response. They were too busy with their corporate events to ever response. Very poor professional manner.
