We were beyond thrilled with our wedding experience at Ashford Acres! (For context: 250 guests)The experience is well-worth the lovely short drive from Lexington--the Inn is a gorgeously renovated mansion with event barn behind it with lots of beautiful land to look at. The staff were professional, kind, and attentive to detail. The planning process was an absolute breeze because of Annastasia, who took time to understand our vision and provide helpful guidance along the way to making it happen. She was thorough, fun, and efficient for the whole process and was absolutely incredible on the day-of as well; she kept things running smoothly and continually checked in with us to make sure our needs were met. We were so grateful for her carefully curated vendor recommendations, all of whom did a fabulous job. It's really impressive how Ashford is able to host such a range of events at the venue, each one tailored to the guest's preference. Additionally, we really appreciated having the whole venue for the entire weekend; having our wedding party all stay at the Inn while we relaxed just a few yards away in the luxurious Garden Suite ended up being such a fun part of the weekend. We can't say enough good things about our experience and enthusiastically recommend Ashford Acres for everyone!

My daughter and her fiance (now husband) had their eye on Ashford Acres Inn from the second they became engaged. Once they brought me there, I could see why. I just could not imagine a more perfect spot for them to have gotten married. Everything from the very beginning was so seamless. I loved that they had regular vendors that they worked with which made me comfortable hiring them being that they were familiar with the venue and knew what we needed without me even having to say. I loved that the food came right from their kitchen and we didn't have to have food catered in or start looking for a caterer. Not to mention, the food was superb! I loved that this little town of Cynthiana had so many local vendors. We were able to get our flowers from Hal's Flowers (A+) and used JL Custom Sweets (A+) for all the deserts with the exception of apple cider donuts which we got from Stepping Stone Farm. I loved that we were able to have the Rehearsal dinner right there on the property. I loved that we were able to have rooms for the 3 sets of grandparents that attended and they did not have to leave all weekend. We also had a FABULOUS breakfast for all of our out of town guests the day after the wedding which Ashford Acres provided. Everything was truly above and beyond here. Kristina Drake was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing! Professional, prompt, helpful, had great ideas and a wonderful vision but all along geared it toward what the bride and groom were wanting. The entire weekend was problem free, from the Rehearsal dinner to the breakfast the morning after the wedding. Everything was taken care of immediately without hesitation or questions asked. On our drive home on Sunday my husband asked me what is one thing I would have done differently and after thinking for a minute, my answer was "nothing". That day, I got a text from my daughter saying "Chris and I both agree, that was the best day of our lives!" All that is honestly and truly thanks to Ashford Acres Inn and all the staff involved! We cannot thank you enough!

Ashford Acres and their staff were AMAZING! As the mother of the bride, I was able to completely relax and enjoy the wedding knowing that Jacqueline and the rest of the staff had everything under control. Jacqueline was very communicative during our 5 month planning process and my daughter and I felt completely assured that they "had it" every step of the way. Our daughter was also able to thoroughly enjoy her day worry- and anxiety-free. And her comment to me was that it was even more beautiful than she could've imagined!
From the time our weekend started with the rehearsal, to the getting ready process with so many moving parts and people asking her questions (I'm sure constantly), Jacqueline and the staff at AA were never flustered, but took everything in step. The meal was excellent and the staff were attentive and professional. Everything went off perfectly and we went to bed in beautiful rooms that night to awake to a delicious breakfast spread. Our guests felt very pampered and I cannot rave about this venue enough.

Ashford acres is so much more than just a beautiful place. It’s a FEELING. As soon as you step on the property, there’s an overwhelming sense of southern charm and comfort. Largely in part to the amazing staff that makes you feel like family. But no actually our wedding planner, Jacqueline, knew our massive bridal party by name. That’s just how much they care about every single detail. We planned our entire wedding from out of state and they really eased our stress and made our vision come to life but did it BETTER. I was almost in tears all wedding day because of how amazed I was. The biggest reason we chose Ashford Acres was the fact that we were able to stay on property and spend all weekend with people closest to us. It has been a month since wedding day and we can’t stop talking about how there’s no other way we would have done it. We got to spend so much time with our family and bridal party. Between rehearsal, being there all wedding day, and having a bonfire both nights, a lot of our memories come from events outside of just the wedding, some of which we will cherish forever. It was truly a wedding WEEKEND, not just a day.
Whoever the chef is… YA’LL. We have had nonstop compliments about every single thing made that weekend. From rehearsal food, Wedding day breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and they even stocked every room with snacks (which of course the boys loved) My husband and I just keep reminiscing on how perfect everything was and how impressed we were. We are so so happy we chose Ashford Acres Inn and can’t wait to go back for future dates or anniversaries.

They’re just aren’t the right words to articulate how special Ashford Acres Inn was from my daughters wedding. From the staff particularly Anastasia and Kristina were phenomenal. They paid close attention to all the details to make this day special. Could not have asked for more. Absolutely would not have changed one thing! Book your wedding here!

There are so many details planning a wedding, but Ashford Acres handled those so professionally and smoothly. As Mother of the Bride, I spent my daughter’s wedding day, fully relaxed and got to enjoy every minute. That was truly priceless.
As far as amenities, being able to stay there was perfect! The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable, and perfect to get ready on the wedding day. The food was some of the best food I had ever been served.
The pictures with the beautiful inn, grounds, barn were speechless. It is such a beautiful venue. I felt like their pricing was extremely reasonable for all that was included.
Again, there truly are not enough words to explain how perfect our experience was at Ashton’s Acres. Take time to go visit and fall in love with it as we did. You will not have one regret-only the PERFECT wedding day!

Our experience at Ashford Acres was nothing short of amazing! It was truly one of the best days of our families' lives.

The venue itself was stunning for a fall wedding with beautiful golden maple trees around the property and colorful leaves covering the ground, making the perfect backdrop for photos. It was exactly what my daughter envisioned, as she has always wanted a beautiful, outdoor fall wedding. Then imagine the fall colors with the white southern mansion...the photos are absolutely stunning!

The food was delicious! The rehearsal dinner (steak or chicken) and the reception dinner (chicken tortellini or pork tenderloin) were equally enjoyed by our guests. It made me so happy to have our guests comment on how delicious and filling their meals were. I am vegan and the meals the chef created just for me were incredible. The breakfast skillet was one of the best vegan breakfasts I have ever eaten. The southwestern stuffed sweet potato and vegetable stir-fry meals were amazing. If you have vegan guests, this is the place to book!

My daughter and wedding party stayed two nights at the venue and had a wonderful experience. First off, the interior of the house is stunning. The restoration of the house and its history was done so expertly. Many of the restorations are stunning replications of the original antebellum house. The rooms were spotless and extremely comfortable, and stocked with snacks and drinks. The large, beautiful rooms made the perfect setting for all the getting-ready, pre-wedding fun.

My daughter was married on the lawn surrounded by beautiful fall colors, and the reception was in the event barn. We couldn't have asked for a better, more stunning setting for the reception. The white interior, the strands of lights, the black-and-white-checkered dance floor, and the candlelight all made for an aesthetic, picturesque surrounding for celebrating our sweet couple. So many people commented on how beautiful the barn was.

The final and most important aspect of our experience that I want to comment on was the service. Annastasia was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic! From the meetings prior to the wedding, the reminder/checking-in emails, the rehearsal, and all the work she did the day-of, she was "on it" and made the wedding day effortless on our part. We experienced some light rain minutes before the ceremony and Annastastia was a calm as can be and quietly assured my daughter who was very anxious about the rain. I was so impressed by her professionalism and poise in that moment. She had the team quickly dry off the chairs and provided matching umbrellas for quests so the pictures would still look amazing. (Luckily the rain tapered off to a light drizzle during the actual ceremony!) Annastasia checked in with us many times throughout the wedding day, making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. My daughter was extremely nervous and Annastasia was a source of calm assurance the entire day. I am forever grateful to her. I cannot recommend her enough!

My daughter and son-in-law's wedding was a day we will never forget. It took me days to "come down" from such a perfect weekend. I can't tell you the amount of people that told me it was the most touching, beautiful wedding they had ever attended and I owe so much of that the Annastasia and the Ashford Acres staff. The day ran smoothly, was gorgeous, fun, and full of love and joy. If I could give six stars, I would!

Our daughter recently got married at Ashford Acres Inn, and it was truly one of the most wonderful days of our lives.  Everything was done to perfection, from start to finish.  Annastasia made all the planning as simple as could be. Every detail was anticipated.  The staff were all wonderful, from the beginning of the weekend, until the last moment.  The venue was beautiful, the attention to detail was second to none, everything was perfect.  Everyone at Ashford Acres Inn made us feel that we were the only thing that mattered, for the entire weekend.  We cannot say enough to describe how special everyone at Ashford Acres Inn is, and would highly recommend them to anyone.
