I can't say enough good about Anthony's! Josh was easy to get in touch during the pre-wedding planning and responded to email quickly. The day of the reception, Josh and the staff that worked our reception were great; they were professional and kept the reception going smoothly all night. The food was great and there was lots of variety. The location on the river is great and we got to see a beautiful sunset from the dance floor. The price per person might seem on the high side at first, but that includes the event center and all the chairs/tables/serving items and flower arrangements on the tables, all employees who work your event, food, set up, take down, etc; when you factor the individual cost of that into other locations, Anthony's seems like a steal!

Anthony's was GREAT...they were professional and responsible. They provided fresh flowers FREE for the tables, which saved tons of money. I was able to bring in my own cake and own alcohol, which saved more money. I can't say enough good things about Anthony's!!!

This center was the best deal in town. If we hadnt had some bumps along the road with change of their management, and the confusion, we would give the full five stars. Other than that everything except cake, dj and officiant was included. And the fee included food and drinks (including alcohol) up to that price! Downfall is that we were the last wedding their ever as they are changing to a steak house.

I immediately fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in the doors and when I heard the whole package I knew that my reception had to be here. There were a few things that bothered me after the initial meeting however. Pros: Depending on the time of year they decorate for you, my wedding was November 30 and they had garland with lights outside as well as flowers, they also had christmas trees. They provided all of the table clothes (your color choice), napkins, and rose centerpeices, which I thought was amazing. If there is no event the day before yours they will allow you to bring in your decorations and they will decorate for you, and my wedding favors were hand decorated christmas ornaments for each person, they actually set up every ornament. We also had assigned seating and they set up name tags for everyone. They also have an amazing sound system that allowed us to bring our own mix of music to play for dancing and they could play it in every room or just in the rooms we specified. I know there were more positives, but I'll move on to cons: it used to be a sundance grill so there were seperate rooms which bothered me and some of my guests a little bit, we tried to keep our guests together as much as possible but we had close to 300 people so we were forced to put some people in a room that was pretty far away from everyone else. Also the lady we worked with was, for a lack of better words, pushy. It was my own wedding and I felt like she was making a lot of the decisions. In some cases you could tell this is what she does for a living so she did make some good points but she was very blunt and didn't explain things well. Also everything was timed down to the minute which gave no room for error... or visiting which shouldn't happen on your wedding day. She gave me 5 minutes to visit 300 people before dinner, then toasts. All in all it turned out beautifully, but I think my biggest regret was not having, well I guess what I wanted for my wedding.
