I picked up my first camera a decade ago, and it was love at first sight.

Hey, friends! I'm Annie Velenovsky and I photograph weddings, families, and humans of all sorts who have an insatiable thirst to live life deeply. I am based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, but I am available to photograph you worldwide! I love the artists and art lovers, the ones that crave the unconventional, the adventure seekers, the daydreamers and go-getters, the empaths, and the ones who won't settle.

As an empath, I am inherently intuitive and bring that to the dynamic of my shoots to create images that articulate you in all of your uniqueness. Being a hybrid photographer just means that I shoot in both film and digital! I love how film brings your connection and personality to life through classic and colorful, artistic imagery. Authenticity and adventure are integral to my clients and film communicates both of those in a truly magical way.

I squeal at all the visceral moments I get to photograph... and also really cute animals. We will be best friends if you include your furry friends in your wedding or portraits! Nature is my ultimate muse and art of all mediums set my soul on fire. I love being a story teller and consider myself a natural born healer. When I'm not taking photos, you can find me with a cup of tea on my yoga mat or watching movies (especially Studio Ghibli) and playing video games with my husband, Alec. My Myers-Briggs personality is INFJ, I'm a type 4 Enneagram, and I laugh at everything. I'm so glad you are here; thank you, friend.
