About

Angelo Battaglia emigrated to the United States with his wife Rosalia and their children in 1972 from the village of Altavilla Milicia, on the Italian island of Sicily.

In 1974, along with his brother Tony, they opened Two Brothers From Italy, here in Elmhurst.

They brought authentic old world recipes, along with skills learned from their parents, relatives & from working in restaurants back home.

Angelo’s strong desire to be successful and to be able to provide for his family, helped him open a second restaurant, also in Elmhurst, Angelo’s Ristorante & Banquets in 1994.

Angelo, along with his eldest child Josh Battaglia, created an upscale dining experience. Their recipes, along with only using the freshest ingredients, and their care in preparing your meal, have made for a place to truly enjoy fine Italian foods.

The Battaglia family, including, now his grandchildren welcome you to experience the charm of the surroundings and the sophisticated menu selections, all served by a staff that understands how to make you feel welcome.

Beautiful Venue

We had our wedding reception at Angelo's on 6-18-22 and could not be any happier with our choice. The banquet hall was perfect for our wedding of 100 people. We chose a buffet dinner and heard nothing but compliments from guests all night long. It took a while to close down the buffet because people kept coming up for more!
The wait staff were so kind and helpful. They were very attentive and checked in with me often to make sure all was going well.
We are so grateful that the staff worked with us on setting up decorations. I was worried there would not be enough time but with their help, we got it all done in plenty of time.
Overall, we highly recommend Angelo's for a beautiful wedding reception and even to visit for dinner any time. I have several guests already comment that will be returning for dinner with family. Thank you for making our day so wonderful!

Angelo's provided a perfect venue for our 65 guest wedding reception. Their balcony is of particular note and made for great pictures. The food was excellent and the bar service was top-notch. They were able to give input on menu selections and really worked with us to make our special day a memorable occasion. Thank you Josh, Meg and Staff for making our reception a great event.

I had my wedding reception upstairs in Angelo's private dining room on Sunday 10/8/2017, and everything was AMAZING! I definitely recommend checking it out if anyone is looking for an upscale private dining room in the western suburbs. We had 50 people total (we had a room divider, it can hold over 100 if needed) and Angelo's couldn't have been more perfect for what we were seeking: intimate and elegant, yet reasonably priced. The food was fantastic (received so many compliments I lost count!), and the service was great - they were on top of everything. A special shout out to employees Bianca and Nicole who were especially helpful and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend! (Tip: Sam the owner can be a bit rough around the edges, so request Bianca or just grin and bear it, as everything else is superior:)

Where to begin???
1. No cart was offered to help us bring in items to the room.
2. Our cupcakes and stands went missing for a short period time.
3. The room was not prepared for our arrival as promised, the buffet was set up on the dance floor, knowing we had a DJ and planned to use that space for dancing.
4. The banquet room temperature was above 80.
5. Person in charge was unfriendly as we handed him a check for the remainder of what was owed
6. We had to help servers place tables and put up our own décor. (Most halls offer to complete this for you, night before)
7. Table for DJ and photo booth were not set up as we had requested
8. Guests from downstairs kept heading up into our event, even when asked to leave. These same guests drank from our open bar and used our photo booth. This should have been stopped by management, especially since they appeared to be someone he knew.
9. Our guests asked if they could PURCHASE a beer at the restaurant bar and were told "No" because we were having an open bar upstairs.
10. We paid for a hotdogs to be delivered to event, only 2 of the 3 were sent up. The third was opened by management and handed out to his guests at the main bar.
11. Bar shut down at 11, even though we had pre arranged to have a cash bar from 11-12.
12. Menu and contract was not followed and we did not receive what was promised.
To say we were disappointed would be an understatement.
