Andy Nelson’s BBQ catered my wedding a couple weeks ago and the food was amazing! I grew up going to Andy Nelson’s for their pulled pork sandwiches and cornbread, so they were a natural choice for our wedding. They were professional and kind, and I got so many complements on the food! I highly recommend their catering for any event!

Andy's team was wonderful to work with, provided many options (including vegetarian) and our guests LOVED the food!! It was casual but elegant all at the same time. Elaine and Paul were fabulous and explained everything to us. We had full service and they came, served and cleaned up without anyone noticing. I would absolutely recommend Andy Nelson's!!

I literally cannot recommend Andy Nelson's enough! They were on time, professional, and accomodated all my requests. Paul Nelson worked our event with his staff, and they all took the time to congratulate us personally on our wedding. They were so sweet, and every experience I had with them got better. They remembered me by name each time I visited and made me feel special. Not to mention, the food was amazing (as usual!). We were very impressed. Thank you for everything!

Andy Nelson's was the PERFECT choice for our wedding! I am from Texas and South Carolina, and having good barbecue is always important. Andy Nelson's completely provided that backyard barbecue feel to our wedding. On top of that, our guests kept mentioning how nice and kind the service staff was, which meant that it was enough to stand out amidst all the wedding hype going on. We worked off of their pre-set catering menu, but they were more than happy to replace any sides or fixings that we didn't want for something we did want. They also agreed to serve ice cream for us along with their peach cobbler for our dessert, which wasn't a part of the original package, so that was really helpful to have it all done by one group. We were allowed to keep the rest of the food after the event, which was great because we had a picnic the next day. They may not be the first place you would think of having for your wedding catering, but we were extremely pleased with our choice!

Andy Nelson's was recommended to us by friends who used them for an engagement party. Food was really important to us-so we reached out to them fairly early in our wedding planning process. We knew we were gettting married outside and we knew we wanted BBQ. That being said, we had A LOT of changes to our original contract with Andy Nelsons as the vision for our wedding became clearer. Elaine was always very receptive to our questions and offered us a lot of useful advice while going through the planning process-especially since we were working with a different event rental company for linens/tableware/etc. The food and service was fantastic! We've received so many compliments on the food since our wedding. We also wanted to do some seafood (crab cakes, shrimp) and Andy Nelson's work with a company-Conrad's-which was also fantastic! I have only good things to say about this delicious BBQ joint! We were so lucky to have chosen Andy Nelson's as one of our wedding vendors. We highly recommend them!

After going through a bunch of tastings with traditional caterers, we knew we wanted something a little more casual and comfortable without sacrificing on quality. Andy Nelson's was perfect! We went with one of their preset packages and added on the catfish (which was a hit) and veggie burgers (which earned rave reviews from both carnivores and herbivores). They were friendly and easy to deal with. However, it did get confusing at times because there are several people who correspond with you, so it was hard to keep track of who we had spoken with and who knew what about the details of our contract. Overall though, we were very satisfied with how everything went!

Besides the office issue where the caterer showed up an hour late to our wedding, the three gentlemen setting up and serving were professional and apologetic. The set up actually went smooth since they waited until the ceremony was over. The food is by far the best thing about Andy Nelson's. I have never been to a wedding where so many people stated they loved the food. They gave us the left overs which was awesome. We frequently go the restaurant since there food is delicious.

This is my go to place for bbq, i knew this was what i wanted at our wedding! I don't like not being able to eat at a wedding, especially my own, so this was perfect. Didn't even get it on my dress!! The only problem we had was the head of catering was extremely off on our quote so we had to get rid of one of the meats, huge let down.. he refused to give us a copy of the invoice he made us so we couldn't pick up on this mistake. Then when paying the rest off we had issues with the down payment price. It was a big mess with that. But the food came literally on time nice and hot. Almost no leftovers!! Everyone couldn't get enough of how good it was, maybe some new andy nelson lovers. Unfortunately i can't say i wound ever do catering with them again, it was a big guessing game but ill gladly have lunch there any time!
