Micah and I are dear friends, and I knew there was no one else I wanted taking our engagement photos. I love Micah, and have always really enjoyed seeing the work she does! Micah's energy is infectious and she brings so much joy. I was kind of nervous going into the shoot and wasn't sure how to be natural, but I feel like Micah has a gift for bringing out the best energy between partners. The photos alone were incredible, but the connection she encouraged during the shoot really highlighted the bond between my partner and I. Micah was also up for any adventure and was so flexible with our vision- I suggested going out to a friend's property that is kind of remote and she was totally down to make it happen. Truly above and beyond. So grateful to Micah for our photos and her friendship!

Micah and Caleb were absolutely amazing to work with! We got married in Rocky Mountain National Park just the two of us, and choosing the team that would be with us that day was so important as we wanted good energies around us for a personal and intimate elopement. Micah was amazing guiding and directing us to the most beautiful locations for photos and Caleb was equally wonderful helping my husband and I to feel comfortable as they photographed us! The photos themselves were incredible and the care and detail that went into each photo was everything. I could not recommend And Two Were Tamed enough! One of my favorite things about their style is they focus on your unique connection, allowing you to be you, guiding poses gently if needed, but they captured my husband and I for who we are and you can see the love through the photos. Micah and Caleb are the real deal! Kind, compassionate, genuine, incredible people who are also wildly professional, talented, and an absolute gift to work with!

Working with Micah was such an incredible part of our wedding day. We originally found her online and looked at her wonderful website where she had photostories from other couples. Based on that and her Instagram site, we were totally hooked by her photography style. Micah was helpful in sending out a questionnaire beforehand that moved along photos at a good pace and throughout the day, she made sure each moment was captured. Even though we only have the sneak peeks so far, I am OBSESSED with all the photos she took, her wonderful demeanor at our day, and how she made the whole day easy and non-stressful. I would highly recommend her for any type of photography.

Where do I even start?! Micah is just amazing!! Searching for a wedding photographer can be super stressful but once I found Micah I had so much peace knowing that my pictures were gonna be just perfect! She is SO sweet and easy to work with! She makes you feel comfortable and reminds you to breath and enjoy the moment for more than just outstanding pictures! I knew the pictures would be beautiful but you guys, the pictures were BETTER THAN BEAUTIFUL! They were STUNNING! I can’t even tell you how many compliments I have heard and continue to hear over a year later about our wedding photos. People are blown away by them! The way she captures the moment in the perfect lighting, color tones and angles is just wow. She is seriously gifted! My dream wedding was a mountain wedding surrounded by beauty and thankfully that’s exactly what we got. And Micah was there to help me remember that day for the rest of my life! The pictures she took captured our day so perfectly and whenever I look through them it honestly feels like I’m reliving my day all over again. On top of this, she is so flexible and understanding! Just about a couple weeks prior to the wedding we realized we had scheduled the day by one day off which I’m pretty sure was My fault! Micah, without even questioning it, switched her schedule around and was there for us! It literally could have been a nightmare but thankfully she was so understanding and made it work without any question or complaints! There are some people who just have what it takes to be an incredible photographer and Micah is by for one of those people. I promise you won’t go wrong by picking her to capture one of the most important days of your life! And she’s not only amazing at photos but she’s loving, thoughtful and so comforting and exactly the type of person you would want to be there with you for that big day! If I could do it all over again I would choose her time and time again!

And Two Were Tamed provided a unique and personal experience for our wedding. From the beginning she was enthusiastic and expressed interest in understanding who we are. She not only asked questions pertinent to the event but to our lives. I cannot explain how this impacted the actual day-our friends and family loved her. When she took us aside for some pictures of us alone, she utilized the stories and experiences that we shared to create some incredible moments. I could rave all day about the wedding day but the photos she sent- wow!!! She is so talented and compassionate. We will recommend her to anyone and everyone we know.

WOW!! I can't say enough good things about Micah and And Two Were Tamed. I used Micah for both our engagement shoot and elopement in Colorado. She is just the best. Not only were the pictures STUNNING and so unique, but she made me and my husband feel so comfortable and at ease. She helped us find some off the beaten path locations to take gorgeous outdoorsy photos and she also nailed the more traditional shots of the family and ceremony. Micah did wonderful with the group who had a ton of shots and requests for large group photos. As a wedding planner she was a pleasure to work with and I hope we get to work together again soon!

We absolutely adore Micah, both for her photography and who she is as a person. Both my husband and my mother are photographers, and they were immensely impressed by her attitude and ability to capture the range of emotions represented on our wedding day. In fact, my husband chose to fly Micah to Iowa from Colorado BECAUSE of her ability to capture emotion through photography. We know a lot of people in the wedding business, but there was never a question about who our photographer would be.

Micah is hands down AMAZING!!! To start I’m the kind of girl that looked through Photographer profiles for months trying to figure out who to use, and the second I saw “& Two Were Tamed” I knew that was the one! I love her style and she made both my fiance and I feel so comfortable throughout the whole shoot.... I’m pretty sure all we did was laugh! It was such an enjoyable experience and even though Micah was there it felt like it was just me and the love of my life hiking around on a mountain and enjoying the sunset. She was super accommodating as I wanted photos in two places one of which I was trying to capture some sunset light. We wrapped up the first half and it wasn’t quite dusk yet so she killed some time grabbing pizza and hanging out in between. She’s not kidding when she says we’ll become friends, I totally love this girl! I’m so excited to get wedding photos done, and any other life events I have down the road by & Two Were Tamed as it’s a wonderful feeling to get your photos back and completely love each and every one of them. Booking with Micah, to capture the most intimate moments with you and your person, is like booking your best friend who "actually" has professional photography skills! Micah loves "love" and somehow she brings out and captures the best part of you. It takes a certain kind of skill, nay talent, to make folks feel so comfortable in front of the camera - with Micah it's like the camera doesn't even exist (which is perfect for the camera shy person like me). My now husband and I fell in love with our engagement photos, so we flew her out to Austin, TX, so she could capture the happiest day of our life! Our wedding day flew by so quickly and it's often hard to capture the best moments in a photo because you simply "had to be there" but with Micah, when you look at your pictures, it's like you were! I cannot say enough great things about Micah! She is professional, funny, and will basically be part of your family by the end of the day.
