My husband and I worked with Amy for our engagement photos as well as wedding photos. From the second we met for an introduction, I knew we would be in great hands. Amy is professional, personable and you can genuine tell she is invested in you/ her work in addition to providing amazing photography. On the day of my wedding she made taking photos so natural and easy. She was on-time and communicated with us on what she was going to do throughout the day (getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception) We also had the honor of working with her husband as well, Adam. We found Amy by chance and it was the best thing that happened! My fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic until 2021, but decided to get married in front of a judge this year. My husband has a handsome smile, but he hates smiling for posed photos, so I knew we needed a photographer who could capture the moments outside of posed photos and capture his natural smile. Amy did just that - she took GORGEOUS photos and definitely caught both of our natural smiles, and the natural moments of our guests and family members too! From the moment my husband and I met Amy we fell in love with her. We had our wedding in Aspen while living in Chicago and Amy still made it so convenient and fun to have incredible engagement photos well before the wedding. My (now) husband is not a fan of getting his photo taken, and she made both of us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, starting with a (very!!!) cold engagement session up in Boulder, CO. Amy photographed our wedding in July 2017 and she was phenomenal! She is so patient, kind and willing to collaborate to create your own vision for your day. We told her about our style, comfort levels in front of the camera and our hopes for our images of the day. She delivered! We would recommend her to anyone! We interviewed several other photographers who were pushy and didn't seem accommodating compared to Amy. She asked a lot of questions about us and talked about how she would capture our specific memories. By the end of our first conversation, we were so comfortable with Amy. Amy went the extra mile for us when we had an unexpected death in the family shortly after our wedding. She rushed to finish some of our family photos so we could have them for the memorial service. That's a testament to how she cares for her clients on your special day and beyond.
