My parents went in for my dad to get fitted and were treated poorly. They told my parents that they had no idea what was going and that no one had been in to get measured which at that point over half of the men had been in. They also would not take the measurements they had from a groomsmen who is out of town. Then proceeded to say I can't take that I don't even know who that is for! Never allowed my parents to find out which groomsman it belonged to. My fiancé and I were in there multiple times and felt like after they had us roped in we were not worth their time. I also feel they are quite a bit over priced

Horrible experience. I used American Commodore Tuxedo for our wedding for the groomsmen, myself, and fathers. First off, a few days before the wedding, we arrive to pick up the items and discover that mine and the groomsmen Tux order was wrong. Their system had the description of what we wanted, but the order was incorrect. So we had to make another trip a day before the wedding to pick up the missing pieces to make the order correct. Wedding day, one of the groomsmen from states away discovers there is a large, very noticeable stain on his pants. This was a problem, I didn’t expect to have. For all the stress, I was originally offered $25 off 1 suit. I wish I would have chosen a different vendor.

messed up order after repeatedly confirmed and lack of responsiblity on their part

I would NEVER recommend this company for anyone. They messed up the color vest for our groomsmen, after we repeatedly confirmed the color. we selected them as our vendor based on this color and planned the entire wedding around it. They have yet to return calls and refund our money after they said they would. they are very unprofessional. a few times I was in there with my husband they were dealing with other grooms/brides whose orders they messed up. this should have been my first clue. don't make the same mistake we did. the manager also said his employee didn't know what he was doing when we asked him about the color this employee told our groomsmen on a fitting they were wearing. the manager also was supposed to order my husband a different size jacket and yet we picked up his tux a few days before the wedding and he did not get him a smaller size.
DONT make the same mistake we did. DO NOT use this company!

Avoid at all cost. We picked renting the shirts/vests/shoes/socks/pants/cufflinks, EVERYTHING from this place. We chose to spend the extra money to BORROW pieces to save us the stress of worrying about if everything matched. I went in ahead of the guys and picked out everything they would wear. I wanted my groom in a light gray and the groomsmen in dark gray. I thought it was easy- there's no way it could possibly get messed up since I picked it myself. No worried for my groom! Wrong.
The day the boys went for their fitting my groom called and told me he thinks they have it backwards, that they were fitting HIM for dark gray and the boys in light gray. I immediately called and corrected it. No one apologized or seemed concerned, so I told myself I was going to call and confirm about a week before the wedding to make sure they got it down right. When I did call previous to the wedding it was STILL wrong... she said the card was wrong but the order was right. I went through EVERY detail. They had MANY things wrong. I was happy I called again, and eased myself of any worry telling myself they will get it right this time.
Two days before the wedding the boys went to pick up- STILL wrong!! I could NOT believe it. My groom said no one apologized, and even blamed US saying they confirmed. I was livid! I called the manager and he assured me everything would be right the next day, however we were driving 45 mins each way and I told him after correcting them 3 times it is ridiculous to not have it right. They did discount $25 off a $750 total. Thanks a lot. On top of that all the buttons were falling off the vests, the suspenders did not match or work properly, and the shirts did not have holes for cufflinks, so they couldn't even use them. I was VERY disappointed, and would never send any business their way.

I would not use American Commodore Tuxedo again for any tux rental. Their location at Polaris Fashion Mall (their only Columbus location) has staff that is not very friendly and they do not know how to measure. Four of our gentlemen pointed out the measurements were wrong while they were being measured and when the tuxes came in, three of them still had issues with various items (shirts, jackets, pants). One of the groomsmen ended up with a completely different brand of jacket from everyone else and you could tell if you looked that it wasn't the same but he was never offered any sort of discount or apology or anything. When I first met the manager at a bridal show he was extremely friendly. We were told two of our tuxes would be free. They weren't. We paid almost $60 for my husband's tux rental and over $70 for our son's rental. I was extremely bugged because we were charged a $15 upcharge for the groomsmen because they had to get the vests from a different store. Shouldn't it all be the same store so why are you charging the customer? I would highly recommend that anyone renting a tux try it on in the store before leaving. Had my husband not done that he would have left without cuff links and socks. And when he pointed it out to the associate, the associate tried to argue with him that they should be in the bag. Our son's shirt was WAY too big and I pointed it out when he tried it on and the associate said it would be fine once he had the sleeves buttoned and the jacket on. It wasn't, but the associate would not listen to me and find a different shirt (this was two days before the wedding so there was time) and our son looked sloppy and awful because his sleeves were way too long. One of our fathers got completely different shoes than all the other men and stood out the entire day. There was a mishap with my father's tie and when a family member tried to go to the Columbus location to pick up another one, the manager was extremely rude to her and initially would
