Lafayette Wedding Strings, formerly Ame Strings, is represented by Nikia Sayre, a classically trained pop/rock violinist specializing in wedding ceremony music. Lafayette Wedding Strings can provide ceremony or cocktail music for your special day, and is flexible to accomodate various genres and/or arrangements. Nikia works with other local musicians to prepare the best instrumentation for your genre of choice and budget.

Genres: Classical/Traditional, indie, folk/americana, pop, rock, christian, instrumental.

Ceremony Packages & Pricing: includes 10-15 minutes prelude music, processional, and recessional music.

  2. Standard - 2 Musicians (violin/cello, violin/piano, violin/guitar as examples) starting at $400
  3. Grand - String Quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) - starting at $800

Magical, musical moments ❤️🎶

The romantic sounds of her violin as the church filled, set the tone for what was to come. It was amazing! And the music she played as I walked my daughter down the aisle will be etched in our memory for a lifetime. Thank you Nikia!

I had some specific music I wanted for my ceremony and there was no problem getting it. it sounded wonderful and helped my wedding to be something special and meaningful.

These girls can do ANYTHING. They set the tone for our wedding with their unbelievable talent and insanely diverse repertoire. I'm extremely picky but I had nothing to criticize. If you're on the fence, HIRE SCARLETT AND NIKIA!

My husband and I as well as all of our guests were beyond thrilled with the music played for our wedding ceremony! Very talented! I requested the songs I wanted and they were played perfectly, no questions asked. Nikia was even able to make suggestions for songs that I couldn't come up with on my own! Extremely flexible with venue/set up and planning!

I would definitely book Nikia if I had it to do all over again! She was able to make recommendations, work with our theme for the event, and even rehearsed new material upon a special request. She met with us twice and really personalized the experience. Great to work with. Book her!
