Amanda was a DREAM to work with. We found her through online research and we are incredibly happy with our decision. We loved when Amanda said she loves to capture the “in between moments” and make her couples feel as natural and comfortable as possible. Amanda was more than we could have ever asked for in a photographer. From the first phone call to after the wedding, we loved every second working with Amanda. She is fun, has incredible attention to detail, and timely. She quickly hopped on board with our desire to get all family pictures and portraits of my husband and I at a different location during cocktail hour so that we could make it back in time. If you're thinking about booking Amanda as your photographer - Just do it!! She is absolutely amazing from start to finish! We booked Amanda for our wedding, which also included an engagement shoot. Amanda worked so well with our German Doodle pup during the engagement shoot and was my ride or die during the wedding pictures! Amanda helped me put on my wedding necklace, helped with my veil and made sure my dress train was always perfectly placed. She walks you through everything between telling you where to put your hands, where to look in every picture and exactly what to do, which I really loved! I can not put to words how INCREDIBLE it has been to work with Amanda!!! She goes above and beyond, has a true talent for photography, delivers the MOST beautiful photos, and captured our wedding day PERFECTLY!!!

We selected Amanda as our wedding photographer for our October 2023 wedding, but my experience with her began nearly 1.5 years prior when we went through the daunting process of trying to find a photographer who aligned with our style and was someone we were excited to work with. From our very first call with Amanda, it was very clear that she would take great care of us, be a great partner throughout the entire process, and that she perfectly aligned with our vision for light, bright, and beautiful photos that did not have a washed out look.

Amanda was always so responsive and worked with us hand in hand on creating our wedding day timeline and determining the best photo locations. She is so personable and friendly to work with and really puts her heart and soul into capturing priceless moments.

Beyond delivering close to 100 sneak peak photos just 2-3 days after our wedding (I was shocked and absolutely thrilled as I always thought we would only get a handful, maybe 10?!) and our full suite of photos only a few weeks after our wedding day, she also went out of her way to help in other ways on our wedding day. For example, at one point my entire bridal party and my family dispersed to quickly get their gowns on and I was all of a sudden, unintentionally, left to get into my wedding dress on my own. However, Amanda was there and beyond willingly stepped in to help me into my dress. It stood out to me because she didn't have to do that, but it goes to show how much she cares about the couples she works with. One other example came later in the day when we were doing our portraits outside and I placed my bouquet down on the ground momentarily while taking a few photos. Afterwards, we saw a small dog come by and before we even realized what was happening, the dog peed on my bouquet (lol!). Fortunately, I was nearly done with it for the day, but Amanda jumped right in and helped clean it up for me. Like I said, she goes WAY above and beyond just taking photos.

Amanda also helped the photo process with my family and bridal party go quick and smooth. She captured every single photo combination I had shared with her and we even had time leftover to relax, enjoy ourselves, and grab a few extra photos we could come up with on the spot.

Overall, I can honestly and from the bottom of my heart say to any couples or families/individuals looking to hire Amanda as their photographer to do it!! You will not regret it!!

Amanda photographed my brother’s 2021 wedding at Argos Farm in Forked River and my husband and I decided she would be the first call we made once we became engaged. Amanda’s work and vision for her photographs are what I would consider light and airy which we LOVED. But, beyond just how much we love her work, we love her too! She is so fun to be around and honestly makes you feel like she is a long lost best friend which helped us feel so comfortable and confident in front of the lens. She also turned around the sneak previews for both our engagement photos and wedding photos in a record two days! Literally unheard of! Besides Amanda's amazing personality that makes her the best choice, her work is just WOW. We are speechless over our sneak peek photos from the wedding day and cannot wait to see the full album. They are better than we could have ever imagined, she truly captures the joy and candid moments so effortlessly. Nothing looks staged, looking at the photos has made us cry, laugh, and smile ear to ear as the way she captured our big day transports us right back into the moments and that feeling of being on cloud nine.

I already have our engagement session photos framed ALL over our house, and now I can't wait to get these wedding photos in frames also ( but how will I choose which ones?!) We are obsessed with EVERY single photo in the sneak peek album and could not be more thankful for her.

Amanda is now an honorary member of our family. We worked with Amanda for family photos in 2021 and loved her work. It was a no brainer to work with her for our wedding. Amanda was THE MOST calm & collected person on our wedding day. Her energy was exactly what we needed amongst the chaos of the rain. I 1000% believe her energy and calmness made me the most chill bride. At one point she was barefoot balancing an umbrella and her equipment to make sure we got some amazing photos. She is so laid back, sweet, kindhearted - just the exact kind of person you want around you on the most special day of your life. Hiring her for our wedding at the Bay Head Yacht Club was absolutely a 10/10 decision.

We interviewed many photographers and put so much thought into the kind of person that would be around us all day. Their style, their disposition - are they bossy? Are they so soft spoken that they won’t pull the right people in or out of photos? Do I want to be around this person for 8+ hours on my wedding day? Amanda’s personality really is such a perfect balance - she gets the job done, keeps you on track on the wedding day, all while making you feel at-ease and relaxed.

On top of being just a generally AWESOME person, here’s what you really need to know. Amanda has SUCH a gift for natural photography. She is SO great at capturing love and pure joy, natural light, and authentic moments. None of our photos were overly staged or inauthentic. After receiving them I cried and cried reliving the day through her pictures. Her edits were beautiful, she got our sneak peeks/photos back to us so quickly, and was incredibly thoughtful in all of our day-of requests (can you get this picture? Can you capture this special accessory? Can we do pictures here? Etc. etc. etc!). She really took the time to make our day perfect. You can tell she cares about her couples by her questionnaires and how in-depth they are. I am so glad I put the time in to answer her questions, because on the wedding day we felt like we had known each other for so long.

All this is to say - I can’t recommend Amanda enough. I really hope our paths cross again someday and she can do another shoot for us down the road, maybe even maternity. Thank you so much Amanda, we appreciate you so much!!
