I rented close to 200 chiavari chairs from All Occassions and had a mixed experience working with them. My first sales associate was not particularly friendly or accomodating. When I first called for general information, she was very terse and seemed bothered by my questions. Unfortunately, All Occassions is the only local company with access to the # and color of chiavaris that I needed, so I continued my contact with them. After seeing the chairs in person (and falling in love), I asked to have my sales associate switched. After all, I was considering spending a significant amount of money to rent their goods and wanted to "feel good" about it. My second sales contact, a manager, was more friendly and responsive. I did, however, have to negotiate my way out of an incredibly large "overtime fee" to have their men come to my reception site to pick up the chairs on Sunday, when they are technically closed. (My reception site mandated the chairs were cleared on Sunday due to an event they had coming in on Monday morning). During the wedding weekend, the company performed (delivery, set-up, pick-up, etc) according to the terms of the contract. The chairs were beautiful and I was happy with my decision to rent them despite their high cost (~$9/chair); however, I was disappointed with my overall customer service experience.

The first time my husband and I went in to meet with All Occasion's the woman we met with knew nothing about our venue and I would ask questions in which she stated she would have to get back to me. However, when I asked her if the chairs from the ceremony space would just be moved to the reception space, or if we had to pay for double the chairs, she assured me that the company would move the chairs from the ceremony to the reception during cocktail hour. I arrived to my wedding venue and I found out an hour and a half before my ceremony that there are no chairs for the ceremony and that All Occasion "Hasn't moved the chairs in years and won't do it at all." I was clearly in a panic, with my guests having no where to sit and everything. My groom and groomsmen were ready to move the chairs themselves too! Luckily my wonderful wedding coordinator was quick to react and called another company to deliver the chairs and they did so within the hour. I would NOT recommend this company. I had to use them because it was what my wedding venue used. They are over priced, kept putting things on our invoice we DID NOT NEED and told them many times to remove the items. If it hadn't been for my awesome caterer putting the final order in and triple checking it for us, I probably wouldn't have had forks or plates either!
