I feel like the photographer is one of the more intimate aspects of a wedding, and a big decision since you hope to have pictures you'll treasure forever. Alison was easy to work with, patient (though she kept us on track), and helped put us at ease through the entire process.

It's one thing to be a good photographer, and a whole other thing to do that AND keep up with the flow of a wedding, capture all those moments happening simultaneously, and make it come together so well. I will tell everyone I know to hire her! We did both an engagement session and our big day, and couldn't be happier with the end results.

Alison was absolutely awesome! She did our engagement and wedding pictures and we love them!! She was really fun to be around while we were taking pictures. It was snowing the day we took engagement pictures and soooo hot the day of the wedding and she was as quick as she could be and still got every picture we could want!

We thoroughly enjoyed our engagement session with Alison! Not only did she travel all the way from Denver, but she made the experience fun, and really captured us in our element. She knew exactly what angles would look best and caught the light perfectly in our pictures. She was also very patient with our not-so-photo-friendly four legged fur child, Jerry. I am so happy with all of our pictures, and I'm so glad that we chose Alison!

I can't say enough great things about Alison McQuain Photography. Alison was our photographer for our Engagement Photos, Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Day. My husband and I did not expect to be nervous for our Engagement Photos, but the day of we actually were and Alison immediately made us feel calm and relaxed even though we didn't know her that well. We chose several locations in Atlanta for our pictures so it ended up being a long day and she was very accommodating. Alison has a great eye and added a flower shop to our location list. This isn't something I would've thought of and those are some of my favorite shots from that day. The whole Wedding weekend Alison also made us feel calm and did such a fabulous job capturing the love between my husband and I as well as our family and friends. She put up with our rowdy groomsmen as well ;) The wedding photos were so perfect and when she sent the jump drive to us the packaging was so professional and she even included a few prints. The quality of the pictures was amazing and I couldn't be happier with all of them! Not only is Alison an amazing photographer, she is also fun to be around! She is very responsive and easy to communicate with which made it so much better as a bride preparing for the big day. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture these special moments for us.

Alison is AMAZING! I was referred to her by one of my bridesmaids whose graduation photos she did and I am so lucky to have been told about her! Hiring her was the best decision I made (aside from, you know, marrying my husband). She was very flexible and attentive to what we were looking for and she worked with our budget. She was the only one shooting our big day but she did the work of two! Not only did she manage to get EVERY shot we wanted but she also made sure my husband and I were taken care of by bringing us water and helping to get things set up that just were forgotten. She really helped with the little things and she treats you like she's known you forever. Best photographer ever!

Alison was not only professional to work with but she was was also so much fun! She helped me and my fiance feel comfortable in front of the camera and had great vision. Her photographs speak for themselves!

Alison is all around great when it comes to taking photos! My husband (that's still so weird to say) and I are somewhat awkward when it comes to taking photos, but Alison made it easy for us to enjoy our sessions. She shot our engagement and wedding photos, and we absolutely LOVE them! She is very sweet and super accommodating. We really enjoyed sharing our special day with her, and my family absolutely adored her! If you need a photographer, do yourself a favor and work with her!
