What is Alicea Caldas Photogrpahy photography style? We love the whole Photojournalism/Natural style. There is always a moment when you have to have family portaits and "official" posed photos, but we keep those to a minimum and let our clients enjoy their wedding day to the fullest It's their show, it's their day!

We booked our wedding/family pictures with Alicea Caldas Photography after finding them on this site. It was a small wedding, just us and our two children. Carmen was so quick at responding to emails from my very first inquiry to even after our wedding was over. She provided me with all the information I needed and felt confident in their services. Luis took our pictures and he did a great job. He got a lot of great family shots and a lot of great wedding pictures as well. We received the pictures quickly after our event and it was really easy to download them all. He did a great job! He was kind and professional and had a good eye for different angles and shots to take. We loved our pictures and working with Luis and Carmen! I would highly recommend them for any event!!

We booked an engagement photo shoot 2 weeks before the date. My photo call was returned by Carmen within 2 hours and we picked the best available date. I asked Carmen if she could suggest a hair salon and professional make up sevices as well. I scheduled both right before the shoot and they were able to work with me with timing. My fiance and I wanted a shoot on the beach near palm trees. Carmen and Luis couldn't pick any better location than what they did.

On the day of the shoot Luis arrived on time, we chatted for a bit, he explained the process, since we were first timers and we began. Luis is a very genuine man and we were able to relax and take non staged photos.

For my make up and hair, I used Lizzie Ibara. She is perfect. She responded immediately and worked magic on me. I am beyond satisfied with Alicea Photography and will use them again for our wedding next year in Culebra.

I am very disappointed with Alicea Caldas photography. My wedding was was June 18th, 2016 and Luis (the photographer) has yet to fulfill our contract. Over the last month, Luis has repeatedly ignored calls, texts, voice mails, messages left with his receptionists, and emails requesting an update on our wedding video. He sent us our wedding photos (later than promised), but we have still not received the video of our ceremony. Luis told us that our wedding video would be ready in July, but months have passed and we have still not received our video or any explanation for the delay. Given other reviews, I am very surprised by the lack of professionalism and responsiveness I have personally experienced with this photography company. Our wedding was such a special day in our lives and I am saddened that I put my trust in Luis to capture it.
