Alex, is the sweetest person ever!!!!! She made the most amazing and beautiful Lambades for my Sons wedding! So different and original she took my idea and vision and went above and beyond and they came out even more beautiful then I imagined it..... The ring bear pillow, the flower girl baskets so unick and original that you only see in Royal weddings and ferry tale movies stunning!!! So many compliments from all the guest of how gorgeous everything was. Her shop is very attractive and Alex is extremely talented. I highly recommend Alex & Eve for everything you need. It was awesome working with you!! Alex is not only A vendor we also became great friends I love her!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ALEX!!!!! And I look forward to working with you again!

I have been going to Alex for all my baptismal, shower and wedding needs. Her store is very attractive and she is extremely talented. I first noticed her store when I decided to do my sons baptism in Disney World 6 years ago. I had to send everything down to Florida and she did it not only on time but beautifully packaged. Since then I have done six events and all went smoothly, on time and easy. Thank you thank you!!!

Alex did my bridal shower from A-Z and it came out more beautiful than I even imagined it. She took my idea and my visions and went above and beyond with it. I still receive many compliments from my guests of how gorgeous everything was. She was easy to work with. Very accommodating and understanding of my long work hours that she personally dropped off samples at my house for me to see. I gave her a budget and I didn't have to spend one penny over. She is a beautiful person in and out. She made me feel comfortable and confident in her talent. When I walked in the restaurant on the day of my shower I literally had tears in my eyes. I was so amazed of the way everything looked.

6 months later was time for my wedding. I got married in Newport Rhode Island so I was not able use Alex for everything like I did for my shower but I was definitely able to get 50% of what I wanted from her. She allowed me to take rented items myself and I had them 2 weeks in advance to drop off to my party planner in Newport. If you think Alex is expensive, try getting married in Newport. A bottle of water was $3. You give Alex a budget and she will make sure that she stays within your budget. She also executes her work with such talent and art. When I dropped these items off to my planner in Newport she was stunned of how gorgeous they looked. She asked how much and I told her and she could not believe the low price I paid for such beautiful items. Alex, I gave out your business cards to her. Expect more business in Newport in the near the future. =)
I highly recommend Alex and Eve for everything you may need for all your occasions. You want something or have an idea, Alex can get it and will take the extra time to find you the cheapest price out there.

Alex is by far one of the sweetest vendors that I have ever worked with. I am happy to say that she is no long just a vendor but has become a friend for life. I love her dearly. She made my place cards, table numbers, favors & greek ceremony items (stefana, the tray and candles) absolutely beautiful. I had no stress with her at all, she is extremely talented. Any event I have, I will only be going to Alex at Alex & Eve. I can't wait to christen a baby or have babies of my own to have them christened. She has beautiful christening gowns, some that she even makes herself. Amazingly talented!!!!! Also thank you to susie for all her help with my wedding as well. Sweetest ladies ever, love them. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!

The worst experience with Alex, she acts very sweet and she promises you the world, charges an arm and a leg and then takes your money, and you will only hear excuse after excuse. She is a pathological liar. I had enough stress planning my wedding and she just compounded it 10 fold. I wish I never used her! She also took my credit card and charged things from her other events on MY card. Then gave me the run around and excuse after excuse that she would look into it. She is nothing but a SCAM artist and THIEF!! I would have read these reviews sooner. Run Run Run far away!!!

Lures you in being very friendly and helpful. Promised delivery of my items several times. Discovered she put over 6k in numerous charges on my credit card while she was on vacation in Greece. Had to file a police report to get the money returned. She claimed the charges were “mistakes” isn’t that what every criminal says ?? Run away, don’t waste your time. This has caused a lot of stress three weeks before my wedding. Never received my items

Run FAR FAR away from this unprofessional establishment. The owner Alex is a complete moron who does not care about customer satisfaction. She does not know the true meaning of good customer service. She acts nice and sweet in the beginning to lure you in but once she has your business she will treat you like garbage. She will accept your business and then forget all about you and your requests. Her products are not any better than any of the other businesses that do the same exact thing she does. In fact, a lot of her products fall apart, and are poor quality but yet her prices are not cheap. Furthermore, she has NO concept of time and the importance of finishing something by the deadline that you give her. She will give a pick up date, and then post pone it without notifying you, and even when you do go pick up the work is not complete and she will ask for more time to finish it. Party planning is stressful enough and she really does not make the process easier. She is always MIA, does not return phone calls or emails. You will have to chase her to get answers and will need to be on top of her. If you are paying someone all that money to create products for you during a special event in your life you should not be on top of them when you are the customer !!! This business made my whole wedding planning process so difficult. I will NEVER go back to them. There are so many other better, more professional establishments that do exactly what she does so do not waste your time. Her store looks nice when you walk in but don't be fooled because they suck !!! They do not deserve to be in business after treating their customers the way that they do. I even heard negative things about her before I went to her but still decided to use her and I regret it so much because she let me down. She has lost my business and loyalty forever. Do yourself a favor and go to someone else in Astoria who will care about you and your event.

Alex and Eve is extremely unprofessional. Its bad enough when your stressed out about putting an event together to begin with but when you add vendors like Alex and Eve in the mix who have no regard of your time, could care less about their end product: for instance: when I received my favors 75% of them were missing the rhinestones from the name tags, that I had to glue back on myself, and half the favors were broken and had to be replaced and/or get fixed. Talk about stress! And good luck getting a hold of Alex the owner! You'll have better luck getting in touch with the U.S. President! Its funny how she will shmooz you to get your money and business but once she has it she treats you like a nobody and your event doesn't mean anything. She does NOT go above and beyond for all her customers! So don't believe the hype! The best advice I could give, is get ideas when visiting her store, take pics of what you want and have someone else do it because she's not worth it!

Very UNPROFESSIONAL! Worst in the business. Owner, Alex is MIA and her coworker doesn't know what to do. Usually Alex is either 4 hours late to an appointment or is a no show. I had my wedding and I bought a lot of stuff from her, custom made stuff too. 1)they were all wrong. Names and dates wrong. VENUE on invitation and DATE on invitation were wrong. What was she doing? Smoking while doing this? Not to mention everything was delivered 1 hour before my reception.
