AJ and The Midnight Soulz is a Tuscaloosa, Alabama-based wedding band that can elevate your long-awaited event. The group is an old-school groove and funk band. We are a seven-piece band that includes me as the vocalist. We love to have you dancing, singing, and grooving to the classics, bringing back the times of the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and early ’90s and 2000s. Additionally, we do contemporary and blues music.

I have been singing since the age of five and have appeared on American Idol. I have performed in Italy and New York and currently work with Rickey Smiley at the Stardome for his karaoke nights. This band is made up of great and talented musicians and vocalists who have traveled all over the United States and internationally. Together, we combine vocals with drums, piano, trumpet, saxophone, and violin for a beautiful sound when playing a range of music across different genres to get you dancing. We're happy to learn new songs to customize your experience and can play anything from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, reception, or rehearsal dinner.
