Damon from Acoustix did an incredible job as a DJ for our wedding. His timing of everything was impeccable and he did a great job of reading the crowd and knowing what sort of music to play. He was very professional and prepared for our event. Very flexible and easy to work with. I had so many guests say to me afterward that it was the most fun they have ever had at a dance!

The DJ was not the one we requested, and they were a little slow responding to emails. BUT they were able to play every song I asked for (even my university's fight song!) and really good at getting the crowd involved.

The DJ did a good job of fitting the music to the crowd that we had. At times the music was too loud, and guests requested that the music be turned down. Overall good to work with.

Was a bit disappointed with our service with Acoustix. We filled out our contract with many requests that went unfulfilled. We had a terrible time trying to contact the owner throughout the entire process. While the dance was fun and our guests enjoyed it, there were a lot of things that didn't happen like we wanted.

Hired this DJ for my son's wedding. Was so looking forward to relaxing and having fun with friends and family on the dance floor. Very disappointed in the service! Many of the songs and activity requests that they had filled on the request sheet did not get played. Bride wanted to honor her grandparents with the Anniversary dance/activity-didn't get done. They requested some country music. Very few played. I requested the Cupid Shuffle just to get people out on the dance floor. They did! But then he followed with a song where everyone left the floor!! He did no verbal communication with the audience. DJ who was supposed to be there called in sick?? so they had a sub come in. (Did not find this out until after the ceremony.) He had no clue how to get people on the dance floor and keep them there. I am sure he had no idea how to do the Anniversary dance. He played songs that no one heard of before. Even an inexperienced DJ could google songs to get people on the dance floor. Sickening feeling to watch my family and friends, who love to dance stay in their chairs. Owner of the company did show up in the beginning to do a walk through, but didn't bother to stay and see if things would go well. He didn't care enough. Went to my nephew's wedding last summer and the dance floor was packed all night. After our wedding family members commented to me how "terrible" the DJ was-their exact words. Maybe the DJ who was supposed to be there would have been ok. Don't know. Their site stresses the importance of having the right entertainment because that's what guests remember. Guests will remember this entertainment for the wrong reason. Don't hire them unless you are willing to take the risk. Company doesn't care enough about ensuring quality entertainment for every event.
