Moonlight Melodies is a professional DJ company that performs at weddings. Based in Hudson, South Dakota we serve areas near Sioux Falls, Sioux City, and Yantkon. Owned by Jim & Lisa, and operated by a veteran of the Army, Jim Greene, the company was founded in January 2007. Jim was inspired to start his own business offering great quality entertainment services after attending some disappointing events. Recognizing the extent to which a DJ can boost or extinguish celebrations, he now strives to enhance every event with great music and genuine enthusiasm.
Services Offered
Moonlight Melodies offers excellent communication skills and work to make the process as easy as possible for the engaged couple. They can schedule consultations before the event, and liaise with them to confirm essential details such as significant songs and function timelines. An online service is available to assist with planning and music selections. At the reception, Jim will accommodate requests from the guests while adhering to the couple’s do-not-play list. Using professional-grade equipment, he will act as emcee for the events, and coordinate with other vendors to ensure they are in sync. In addition to great music, Moonlight Melodies offers a range of celebration embellishments, including:

I am a wedding videographer and actually had the delight of hiring Moonlight Melodies to DJ for our wedding reception. What a great investment! When my wife and I got to the reception, Jim greeted us with a smile and had already started playing the dinner music we requested. for the rest of the evening, Jim did a wonderful job getting people out of their seats and onto the dance floor. My father-in-law still says that was the best money he ever spent on anything wedding related. I would recommend Moonlight Melodies to anyone who wants to have a fun time set to music.
