Shawn did a fantastic job as our DJ. Everyone was on the dance floor and having a good time. The music was just the right mix of mine and my husbands taste to include something for everyone. He was flexible since there were some last minute changes right before the reception.

Shawn was really easy to work with and really seemed to understand what type of music we wanted at our reception. He really listened to what we liked and disliked and selected music appropriately. He was able to keep the crowd happy at the reception and had a good feel for what songs would keep people dancing. I'm happy that we went with A Touch of Class and have and will continue to recommend him to friends and family.

A Touch of Class DJ service was great. He played from 3:30pm to 12:00am. He was definatly worth the money that we paid.

This was, by far, my worst vendor. I was supposed to have Sean as my DJ. The day of the wedding, just before being introduced into the reception I found out Sean had an emergency so sent a replacement. I understand emergencies happen, but to this day (almost 1 month later) I have not heard from Sean to get an apology, reasoning, nothing.
The replacement looked me straight in the eye and said, "don't worry I've done this 15 or 16 times so we'll see how it goes." You DO NOT say that to a bride on her wedding day.
He was horrible. He would approach me before all formal aspects of the day asking when I wanted it to take place, etc. He even asked who I was dancing with. Ummm..my husband and father. He asked the name of the groom's mother. It was all written on paper that I had given to Sean, that Sean apparently DID give to this other guy.
He did not speak loud enough on the speaker so no one knew when things were happening. My in-laws were outside when we were introduced into the reception and cut the cake.
He was horrible, needless to say. Luckily, we have some great friends and family who could have fun with out a DJ at all.
The only good thing about the replacement was that our contract was only for 6-10, but he played music until about 1245...I don't know that he knew any better.

We would never have even booked if the service hadn't been set up by our venue. Despite multiple attempts to contact him, we had virtually no communication - only one phone conversation several months before the wedding in which he assured us he would be working our event and would be happy to accommodate all our requests. We didn't hear from him again despite several more attempts to contact him.

And then we found out TWO DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING that Shawn would not be working our wedding after all because he had gone on a trip to Hawaii and just hadn't bothered to let us know.

He didn't even tell us himself - we got an email from a "replacement." Having previously read some reviews about Shawn that said his "replacement" had ruined their wedding, we decided we'd had enough and made an iTunes playlist for the night.

If you care at all about your event and your music, find someone else, because Shawn couldn't care less about it.

It was a disaster, he didn't even show up for the wedding, and sent his "buddy." The guy didn't have our playlist, so during dinner we had to write down every song we wanted by memory. He invited his girlfriend and hung out outside all night smoking with her, while my husband was playing the music ... TERRIBLE, and I would NEVER recommend this company. To this day he wont even pick up my phone calls.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
