Annmarie from A Sweet Memory was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was incredibly helpful and responsive, and she designed the most beautiful sweetheart cake for our wedding. She provided a to-go cake tasting box that allowed us to choose from a wide variety of cake flavors, icings, and fillings - it truly felt like the world was our oyster!

We chose a vanilla cake with lemon curd filling and buttercream icing, and it was delicious. I shared our winter wonderland theme with Annmarie and mentioned that we’d love poinsettias piped onto the cake. The final result exceeded my expectations and turned out even better than I could have imagined. I can’t thank her enough and highly recommend A Sweet Memory to any couple looking for a beautiful and delicious wedding cake.

We really consider ourselves lucky that we are local to LBI, we use Annmarie at A Sweet Memorg for all of our family events, birthday cakes, even our engagement party and of course our wedding cake! We already had our favorites in mind, but when we went for our cake testing, we got to try so many new options/combos we never even thought of! All of our guests LOVED our wedding cake and that we offered different flavors of cake and mini desserts. Words don't do justice to the delicious wedding cake we ordered from A Sweet Memory. We went down in May to do a tasting with the husband's parents (they found it) and were able to try a variety of flavor profiles and combinations. We ended up with a marble swirl chocolate and vanilla cake, raspberry and chocolate filling with another filling in the layer, and buttercream frosting that was amazing. The design we provided images and they even confirmed the design the week before the wedding since we placed an order back in May. Delivery was seamless for our September 30th wedding. We even got to enjoy the leftovers the week after since we had several no-shows. It still was delicious! 10/10 recommend Sweet Memory and their team for any occasion but mainly if you are getting married on LBI do get your cake from there, we got so many compliments.

Amazing! I called, texted a picture of what we wanted + flavor choices and on our wedding day the cake showed up to absolute perfection. FLAVOR and TEXTURE is the callout here! The flavor & texture of the cake was so amazing and nothing I’d ever expect out of a wedding cake. I am so thrilled we chose A Sweet Memory!

We were so lucky that A Sweet Memory works with Hotel LBI for their wedding cakes. We could not have been happier. It turned out better than we could have ever imagined and the guests just raved about it! The best part is that we get to go back on our one year anniversary to get a fresh one made just for us. Delicious cake that I was so happy came with my venue at Hotel LBI for our wedding on September 18, 2021!! What’s really nice is that my husband and I get to go back to the shoppe itself to get our one year anniversary cake! So happy with this place, and the shop is always so nice and sweet

We had our Wedding reception at the Holiday Inn, The Terrace, in Manahawkin, NJ. Their banquet cake vendor happened to be A Sweet Memory. Their address is a little different from what is listed on this site: 521 U.S. 9, Waretown, NJ 08758. They did a wonderful job! The cake was stunning!

Annmarie was great! She was so fun to work with, all her treats were SOOO yummy which made making our decision to work with her very easy. The hard part was once we booked her, narrowing down what we actually picked for the wedding day! She was so accommodating, and made sure we didn't order too much for the day and end up with a ton of left overs to potentially get thrown out. Everything was not only very tasty, but very beautiful as well! We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a baker for ANY event!
