We are a mother-daughter duo who appreciates the privilege of working alongside you to create engaging, unique, eclectic experiences that align with your individuality while you get to enjoy it all as a guest. Through creating captivating events across the country and stage-managing Broadway-style productions, our A Spoonful of Planning team has a keen perspective on how to bring a client’s vision to fruition seamlessly. The reception was absolutely beautiful we were impressed with everything. Our guest are still talking about how beautiful and well organized our wedding and reception was a month later, as well as, and how eloquently it was done.
The scheduled meetings were set with meaningful agendas, timeframes for the wedding established to the minute. It was a joint effort to work with multiple vendors to bring the day to fruition and A Spoonful of Planning was able to coordinate with all contacted vendors to expedite the process with expertise and professionalism.
In addition, I would like to mention, most of the vendors stated (i.e. caterer, photographer, videographer, venue manager, chair rental, and florist etc.) the wedding and reception mentioned the planning team and staff were one of the most patient and considerate wedding planner' teams they had encountered in their jobs. So well done and keep it up the good work.

The rustic theme was executed throughout the entire wedding a vision that was important to me as the bride. Our dream come true!
Hiring A Spoonful of Planning as a Day of Coordinator was absolutely one of the best decisions my future wife and I made during the wedding planning process. Tanesha, the owner, really took time with us so that she could understand our vision for the reception and bring it to life. To start Tanesha met with us to discuss the overarching vision and theme. Then she developed a very thorough reception timeline and then met with us to review it. My wife and I had a few changes that would have made the reception longer, and cost us more money, so Tanesha suggested some very creative ways to fit in everything we wanted into the timeline.
I really wasn’t part of the reception decoration planning process, but my wife is very creative and did a lot of DIY for the wedding and the reception. Interpreting someone else’s vision/dream and bringing it to reality isn’t always the easiest of tasks, but when I saw the room, it was absolutely beautiful and I could truly see my wife’s vision implemented by A Spoonful of Planning.
Being able to greet all of our guests was very important to both of us. Sometimes you go to a wedding and barely get to speak to the bride and groom. Tanesha knew that this was a priority to us, so she escorted us around the room and made sure that we got to every table to greet our guests. And we didn’t feel rushed! She even had the great idea to have each table go to the buffet after we finished greeting that table. We were even able to take pictures with guests as we went around the room.
Weddings are already very stressful enough with all the planning and emotion that goes with the day. Having such a capable coordinator allowed my wife and I to have peace of mind and to really enjoy the precious time with our family and friends. Our guests were very pleased and commented on how beautiful the reception was and how smoothly everything went. At the time of writing this review, it’s been almost a month since our wedding and people are still talking about how beautiful everything was!
